Sati User Info... | Thu. February 25th Brutal Truth, Infernal Majesty, Gross Misconduct, Entropia, Fetal Butchery, Nylithia @ The Red Room (No Minors) $22 7 Tickets At: Ticketweb, Scrape Records hey all, I'm not sure what's going on, since this show listing has gone through a few incarnations now, but the promoter just edited this and I just thought Brutal Truth should be a big enough deal for someone to make a splash about. !! (and if you haven't already heard, you might also want to head over for the Kreator and Overkill shows) - Sat, 19 Dec 2009 3:19pm

Bryan User Info... | Wish there were better openers, tons of bands in Vancouver would go way better on a bill with Brutal Truth. - Thu, 24 Dec 2009 1:39pm
Mr. Hell User Info... | For example? - Thu, 24 Dec 2009 1:57pm
canon.docre User Info... | For example, one of the 6 or so actual grindcore bands from vancouver .. seeing as brutal truth are a .. nevermind. whatever, gross misconduct rip it up and I'll reserve judgement on the others until I see them live. Doesn't have to be a 1-genre show, obv .. - Sun, 3 Jan 2010 5:59pm
Bryan User Info... | Exactly, I guess I'd like to see Massgrave or Osk or a band that sounds like they actually listen to Brutal Truth on the bill, but I'm probably not gonna go anyway so what does it really matter... - Sun, 3 Jan 2010 7:54pm
Curmudgeon Rocker User Info... | oh to share a fucking bill with BT damit! fuck! damnit! /pissed I missed their New York Theatre gig about, oh, 72 years ago /was that the Club Soda gig where a bunch of nazi homos stood up at the very front and seig heiled BT? - Tue, 5 Jan 2010 9:21am
Evangelium User Info... | "a bunch of nazi homos stood up at the very front and seig heiled BT?" I enjoy doing this at Iskra shows. - Tue, 5 Jan 2010 3:44pm
Spinvis User Info... | Any word on what bands are playing with Brutal Truth for the Seattle show? I might be going to the Seattle one on Feb 27 - Tue, 5 Jan 2010 4:19pm
Jason Flower User Info... | holy shit, Infernal Majesty! ..yah gotta love 'em; Toronto lipstick poofter rockers turned cash-grab death metallers! I wonder what image they're emanating this time. on the other hand, Brutal Truth rule. - Thu, 7 Jan 2010 10:37am Edited: Thu, 7 Jan 2010 10:38am
Mr. Hell User Info... | "cash-grab death metallers" This does not compute. - Thu, 7 Jan 2010 1:49pm
Jason Flower User Info... | from about the mid-80s there was actually something now known as "Metalsploitation"; i kid you not. a Toronto bar band that turned heavy like Infernal Majesty (who I really like) were on the periphery of this. most were much worse than this, in the sense of not even ever really existing yet having albums made. a few from the vaults: Convict, Thrash Queen, Exorcist, Original Sin, Piledriver (awesome stuff and now a real band for the 1st time), Hunter, and the list goes on and on. anyhow, thats just how they spoke of Infernal Majesty back in the day...but that don't mean it ain't a great album! "Overlord" is killer! ok enuff nerdy shit...pardon me. hehe. - Thu, 7 Jan 2010 4:28pm Edited: Thu, 7 Jan 2010 4:29pm
tom User Info... | I remember seeing a Brutal Truth/Cannibal Corpse gig at the Starfish Room back in early '97 or something like that..kinda foggy but I'll always remember Brutal Truth showing up in the alleyway behind the room and first thing Dan Lilker says when they get out of the van is "got any weed, man?"....was happy to oblige. They then proceeded to take off all of their merch (shirts/hoodies), each one of 'em must've been wearing 30 shirts. what a great gig. - Fri, 8 Jan 2010 9:56am
Amanda User Info... | Brutal truth, fucking sucks that it's no minors. D: - Mon, 18 Jan 2010 12:43am
Sati User Info... | Yeah, bummer, esp. since this promoter usually does do all ages. It looks like what happened is that the local lineup was set and rather than bail on all those bands, they just topped it up with BT afterwards. They're all good (yep, even IM after they warmed up last time I saw them), and they've all played a ton of shows, so they're not undeserved. FB is more grind than anything else. It would have been a great local show on its own. Plus I'm sure they're all freaking out and practicing hard and heavy taking into account what people will be there for. I don't know entropia but I know the others are all competent enough players that they can adapt their sets a bit if thats what they want to do. imo, they shouldn't need to.. great lineup. i can't see any of it mattering anyway - BRUTAL TRUTH, OH FUCK YES!!!! goddamn i need this one, its been a while. - Mon, 18 Jan 2010 3:45pm
doomhammer User Info... | Saw them a couple weeks ago in montreal, they ripped. I'll actually probably be at the vancouver, sort of a weird line up and 22 bucks, but I'll be stoked on seeing them again. - Wed, 20 Jan 2010 7:51am
