| The real | Yea there is a band called Perish. A few months ago they played at the Sooke elementary school and boy what a show. The singer has a winey voice like the guy from Choke, but he can't hold notes or Hit the right tune. But he gets this crazy look on his face like everyone thinks he is the shit and actually gets more shakey and stoked on himself. The guitiar player is a spaghetti armed little kid. Looked at his guitar the WHOLE time and didnt move. Off time, bad chord switches. Just not a good time. The bass player is ok, but he knew the band sucked,(unlike the singer, HA!) I don't ever think the drummer has ever played a live show. This was on Oct 4th and was one of the worst performances I have ever witnessed. The bass player is my little bro darwin's friend and aparently started the band a few months ago with some dorky dudes who were destined to be "Rockstars". Yea maybee in like 6 or 7 years of playing your instrument and dedication. These guys, Perish, are just some kids from Sooke trying to be rockstars. | Larry | A band name cannot be copyright until said band has recorded music and had the music copyright. So if a band 25 years ago recorded as The Perish, they own the name, at least in North America, chances are they didnt copyright internationally. Ever wonder why Bush in Canada is called Bush-X?
