Trailer Park Boy Julian User Info... | Show was awesome... as expected. The Rod Iron Haulers ripped. They just keep gettin' tighter and tighter every time I see them and they are starting to come into their own. They even played a Humpers cover, "Mutate With Me", which totally complimented their own torrid r'n'r sound. The Supersuckers were killer as usual. I've seen them 6-7 times and they never let me down (well the show at Lucky before this one was kinda flat....). They played shit off of all their albums (from what I remember their set included "Bad Bad Bad", "I Want the Drugs", "Creepy Jackalope Eye", "Luck", "The Supersucker Drive By Blues" and "Pretty Fucked Up" and "Rock n' Roll Records (Ain't Selling this Year)", both off their new one, as well as a bunch of others). As usual Eddie Spaghetti was makin' a mockery of their cock rockery while keepin' a steady stream of banter goin' through out the show. They played Thin Lizzy's "Jail Break" and ended the show with a cool mix of "Born With A Tail" interspersed with one of their country classics, "Non-Addictive Marijuana". In the end I left Lucky with my ears ringin', my brain buzzin', and with a satisfied smile.... As Lemmy from MotorHead said, "If you don't like the Supersuckers, you don't like rock 'n' roll." - Wed, 10 Dec 2003 12:10am | ||
