| DK User Info... | Didn't catch Grace Nocturnal's set, they must have played really early. Probably won't catch another GN set at Logan's because word when I left the bar was that Travis had broken a bunch of chairs and shit in the bandroom, Chris was mighty pissed and was getting everyone to leave the bar. Obviously a very bad move, if you want to break stuff then break guitars and drum kits on stage, don't break a bunch of shit belonging to a guy who offers a venue for some stellar shows. As for Veal, they kicked ass; the band before them was also good, can't remember their name. During the last song of the second band's set, the guitar player was drilling holes in the body and neck of his guitar, he came on during the last song of Veal's set and did the same thing-dancing around with the drill, it was fucking brilliant. - Sun, 30 Nov 2003 8:39pm | ||

| DK User Info... | Well I don't know who trashed the area but someone did. I was at the show and Chris was very upset because a bunch of chairs had been broken and he was walking around saying, "Travis broke a bunch of my fucking chairs, he can suck my fucking dick". I haven't heard anything else since the concert but that is what was going on when I left, maybe Veal or SFO were trying to pass the buck, all I know is someone was an asshole that night. - Tue, 2 Dec 2003 11:01am | ||

I know for a fact that these guys brag about trashing hotel rooms, being sooooo drunk... you know all the stupid shit that people that don't have a clue THINK they're supposed to say when they're in a band. But really, anyone who's seen them live would know that they care more about "looking rock" and "acting rock" than actually playing decent rock music. The worst thing is that I think they all can play their instruments quite well but for some reason play really bad un-original music. Whoever is guilty, this is BULLSHIT and everyone should do what they can to make it better. I do, however agree with your point about trashing places being bullshit. Words of wisdom we can all live by: "You do not shit in your own bed." - meaning, of course, don't fuck with the places you play your music in. Too bad this happened.
