After the show a few people said they really liked it, so I don't feel that bad about it, on the whole...... Grace Nocturnal was a solid band when I first saw them a year ago, and they've really put that year to good use..... I really like their new material..... | DK User Info... | On Grace Nocturnal-Ok maybe they aren't some extremely progressive band but at least 80% of bands out there are ripping off some other shit and only about 15% are doing it well. Grace Nocturnal are a tight, entertaining group that play catchy, yet aurally inoffensive music. As for people to say they act like ego-maniacs; we need more of that shit in rock music, we need the whole "look at me" shit and people smashing guitars and knocking over amps. Outside of the rock and roll arena Grace Nocturnal are great guys, though I haven't met Leigh and Marty (is he ever going to buy a new shirt?). I've seen Grace Nocturnal about 7 times and they always put on an entertaining set, I'm going to see them with Veal tonight and somebody better fuckin break a guitar all ready. My only complaint about the show with the Poppies-Luke was playing one of Keith Moon's old sets apparently, should have done it justice by trashing the shit out of it at the end of the show, but I guess it is a rock heirloom. - Sun, 30 Nov 2003 4:00pm | ||
