Yo Yo Yo... all i got to catch were the first two bands and they f*ckin rocked out! Awards for mad skills (from what i saw) goin to the guitarist from The Harvest and the drummer from the Habitat for massive solos. Anyways... anyone know who won? All i saw was The harvest at 119 decibels and The habitat at 116. Peace - Wed, 19 Nov 2003 12:56pm

Wicked, wicked show. This is the first Battle of the Badns I've been to, and i got to say i was hella impressed. Pretty packed to.

First band, The Harvest, were pretty tight, they had like an old-school rock sound going on. Good balance. They got 119 decibals. The second band, The Habitat, was the youngest band in this whole Battle, and they were fuckin intense. Awsome punkrock sound, and they had great stage pr. Good performance, too bad they got 116, lost by three decibal points. Making Mischief was good too, never heard The Whether. - Wed, 19 Nov 2003 1:21pm

OK, which bands are in the finals?!? I know Fully Loaded was the first week, so what's up with that?!? Let's hope Sweathogs make the 4th cut.... I still think Self Inflicted should of won first week, but what do I know?!? I'm just some old hack who thinks he knows what he's doing. - Wed, 19 Nov 2003 9:16pm

I'm with Griphin S.I. shoulda won week one. But they didn't have enough girls screaming for them. Next time maybe judges would give a more fair outcome. Not the band who has the most friends who can come out on a Tues nite. Oh well good luck to all the remaining bands. I'll come to the final nite to see if justice is served. - Thu, 20 Nov 2003 11:07am

Don't bitch about the scoring system. Everyone knew what it was when they got into the whole deal. This isn't a "Best band wins" and no one claimed it to be.

If you think Self Inflicted should have won the first week, thats wicked go see their show tommorow i've heard they're a great band i'm sure they're stoked that people dig em and are supporting them. Judges in a contest like this wouldn't work since the bands can be of such different styles, how do you compare a metal band and a pop rock band. Just because the band you liked didn't win dosen't mean something is unfair. - Thu, 20 Nov 2003 7:56pm

Making Mischeif had wicked songs. they were super tight and great satge presence.
One band brought in whistles and noise makers that night. I think that is way more unfair than brining in friends.
But I believe the best band won anyway. - Mon, 24 Nov 2003 5:11pm

Yeah, what's the protocol? Is it considered kosher to cheer for yourself? - Mon, 24 Nov 2003 8:42pm

In response to people bringing in whistles. Is it then considered "fair" for some one to stand on stage and show their tits! Not that the display increased the readings. - Tue, 25 Nov 2003 7:53am

I don't know whether the flashing of breasts is officially sanctioned but it is certainly appreciated none the less.
