| ENIGMATICA ENTERTAINMENT User Info... | I just wanted to give huge shout outs to the jam packed house at the Upstairs Cabaret that came out to see all the bands for the Ska Fall Classic 2003. Despite some electrical/sound difficulties during the Planet Smashers on the venue's end, the show's spirit and energy was kick ass as always. BIG SHOUT OUT TO SCOTT LAMING OF BOSEVUS PRODUCTIONS for co-producing this show. I'd also like to thank the ska shows on CFUV 101.9FM Skankster's Paradise and Soundcheck for putting out awesome promotion for the show (as usual). Make sure to check out Skankster's Paradise every Saturday from 2:30 - 3:30pm on CFUV 101.9FM. Soundcheck airs every Friday from 5 - 6pm on CFUV 101.9FM. PROMOTING SKA IN VICTORIA KICKS ASS! YOUR SUPPORT OF THESE SKA SHOWS = MORE SKA SHOWS!!! YEAH!! Having said that THE TOASTERS are confirmed to play at the Central Bar and Grill on Saturday, January 10, 2004. This is an all ages show! Tickets will be $15.00 in advance however there will be an early bird rate of $12.00 throughout the months of November and December. Note: there is also a limit on how many early bird tickets are available. Tickets for that show will go on sale in two to three weeks. Actually the Toasters were going to play Vancouver on the 10th but Ska-T couldn't get the W.I.S.E Hall on that night so he had to change the date to the Sunday. Then I was stoked the Saturday was available so it worked out well for Ska-T, the band and us! The web site probably just hasn't updated the change as it was confirmed just a couple of days ago. But trust me, the show is confirmed cold for Saturday, January 10th/2004 in Victoria BC @ the Central Bar and Grill on View Street. - Fri, 7 Nov 2003 3:25pm | ||

| jake User Info... | hey, is los furios opening for the toasters in vic? i ran into pedro (the singer) this weekend when i went to van (pedro works sound at Mesa Luna where i saw the blood brothers play) and he said that he's opening for the toasters at the vancouver show... enigmatica, you should get them to play at the vic show too! they were so good opening for the 'smashers! - Wed, 12 Nov 2003 6:07pm | ||
