Tonight was the first night of the battle of the bands at Lucky Bar. I just want to say that I thought Fully Loaded was awesome! Great sound and style. - Tue, 4 Nov 2003 10:49pm

Sigh, I'm bummed, seems Self Inflicted lost by a decibal point. SInce I apparently was the impartial judge, there may be a playoff, I thought S.I. busted their ass doing a stage show (yes, I got nailed three times by the firecrackers, figures :) But i half to admit, last band really busted their ass, but there out of it cause the crowd was lame? Not fair...

In any case, bands got exposure, and that's all I'm happy about... nuff said :)... Peace! - Wed, 5 Nov 2003 1:00am

Fully Loaded won as far as I know.

The last band Pendemic was also wicked, some young guys from Nanaimo but no chance in hell for them. The bar cleared out before they played... there were about 6 people there... - Wed, 5 Nov 2003 1:23pm

Heh... I was one of them, I thought there were more then 6 people to catch the final act. Yeah, Fully Loaded won by a decibal point, second was Self Inflicted, third was the first band who played (fergot the name off hand) and Pendemic came in lame fourth. Hopefully Pendemic plays another show, there worth checking out. - Wed, 5 Nov 2003 6:45pm

BLOOD. FIREWORKS. KILLING NATZI WAR CRIMINALS. Apparently is not quite enough for the Battle Royal. So yeah too bad about our narrow loss. Whatever. Those who never stuck around for Pandemic really missed out. Thanks to Ira Hunter (Champions of Hell) for all the props and the guest appearence of Gas Chamber. Thanks to Ben for putting us all on. Anyways GO SWEATHOGS!!!!!!!! Fuck all you Steamers bands! - Wed, 5 Nov 2003 9:37pm

Hey I forgot someone slashed a wrist, I think I was the only person who noticed the blood, and even then I thought it was fake blood. Good thing he didn't sever a major artery. Speaking of Pandemic, my neck is killing me today, sigh... :) - Wed, 5 Nov 2003 10:50pm

Ya im sorry I couldnt make it either. Im sure the screams of horror from me streaking across Lucky would have been the decible difference needed to win..... - Thu, 6 Nov 2003 8:33am

I want to thank all of you for your great comments and support, unfortunately we did play last but I think we've made our first impression a good one and made quite a few Vic friends and drinking buds in the process. It was awesome to play Victoria. Self Inflicted, what can I say it's thursday and my neck is still busted. Fully Loaded we're sweet, congradulations on moving on. And effective friday played a really tight and original set "SaxAmophone!" We in Pendemic thank you all and hope to see you in Vic soon with Self Inflicted any day as well as Fully Loaded. - Thu, 6 Nov 2003 5:34pm
