ricky jak User Info... | O.K. the banner at the back of SD said 30 years of underground rock-n-roll. SD have a pack.... no a carton of great songs. I just have way to much to say about this show and too little time to write it down. first I couldn't see because everyone was standing.... It was good. The venue wasn't the best but it was... and it was kinda neat to see SD in a classy joint, although i missed the dancefloor. still you could dance in the isle. the security allowed that. anyway lets do the rag thing.... Security where put in their place at the social distortin show.... Will the headlines in todays Times Colonist say "LEAD SINGER OF SOCIAL DISTORTION STOPS PLAYING TO HELP FAN BEEING ROUGHED UP BY SECURITY" probably not. but alls i have to say is... Three cheers for Mike Ness! I do think the UFC rubber gloved security should use their digression. These guys where rough. I know in these are days of equal rights.... BUT YOU DON"T HANDLE A WOMEN LIKE THAT!!!!! I think MIKE NESS felt the same way!!! THREE CHEERS FOR MIKE NESS!!! - Tue, 21 Jul 2009 9:44am Edited: Tue, 21 Jul 2009 9:48am
denny User Info... | I saw one of the shows in Vancouver, and I've got to say Mike Ness was looking great. The last time I saw them (just over 2 years ago) he was over weight and uninterested. This time around he engaged the crowd, was moving around the stage and looking nowhere near his age. My only beef with the show was that they opened with 'The Creeps' followed by 'Another State of Mind' and then 'Mommy's Little Monster.' These are 3 of my favs, so there wasn't really anywhere to go from there but down. But at the end of the night it didn't really matter because they have a huge catalogue of songs I wanted to hear, and sounded amazing. Three cheers for Mike Ness indeed. - Thu, 23 Jul 2009 6:10pm
