Heh the bass rig blowing sucked but i'm glad Moneyshot was there to bail out yet another band with gear problems so the Halo's could at least finish most of their set. Also thanx to Ak-47, Lady Esther, The Hoochy Girls, One Drop, Falling into Place, the Habitiat, The Halo's, all the volunteer's, the people at the Burnside Youth Center and everyone who came to the show making it such a success. - Sun, 21 Sep 2003 3:36pm

My review of the show at Lucky Bar.

Keg Killers-I had seen them once before and thought they were the worst band I had ever seen, I no longer think this. They put on a solid set and the vocalist sounded one hell of a lot better than the last time I saw him, their white trash humour is hilarious too.

Chinatown-Fucking awesome, the lead singer had burn scars on his face. They played a great melange of 60's rock and punk. Lots of energy, really fun to watch.

Black Halos-I hadn't seen them before their breakup but holy shit they were amazing. Everybody seemed to be into it and I was getting slammed quite nicely against the stage, almost had a bottle in the head too. The lead singer was going nuts, writhing all over the place and thank goodness, not quite getting naked. The set ended with some flashing on behalf of the girl next to me and the lead singer on his hands and knees preaching the punk gospel to many excited parishioners. Fucking awesome show. - Sun, 21 Sep 2003 7:08pm

Meatlocker was forced to cancel due to some personal conflicts with the date that arose. They appologized that they couldn't make it. - Mon, 22 Sep 2003 9:24am

Everyone played really well, but i honestly think that the local talent is better then the black halos. But that is just my personal opinion of course, so its no big offensive comment. I personally thought our local guys played the best, especially the lady esther. Very destinctive style at this show. - Sat, 27 Sep 2003 8:57pm
