V User Info... | holy fuck what a great show. i may have been hopelessly drunk but i think that's one of the best shows i've seen. i don't even know who played besides the rampant and pressure point. fuck, those guys fucking ruled. met some cool fuks from van city, one of which fell asleep on the floor during the last set, hahaha. oi v. i heard the atomics played aswell but i must have missed that somehow. i guess the havoc never showed huh? $12 was a little much but i think a good time was had by all. fuck i dont think i've ever been so bruised up from a show. ow. no cops was a plus, too. what did you fuckers think? oi oi oi oi - Sun, 14 Sep 2003 8:38pm
joshy atomic User Info... | Machine Gun Kelly: Played real well, sound was horrid. Nice guys good speedy punk rock, kinda Rancid lets go era vocals. I love the cambie made me laugh. Good song. Atomics: Speaking for all of us in the atomics that was our worst show to date, fucking awful. If I meet rgar fucking sound guy im gonna kill im. Betty Ford: GOOD BAND, Great trashy fucking asshole punk rock. I had a blast watching those guys play. I wish there was more of it. Nice guys too. Rampant: Never saw them but ive known Joey for awhile, I loved watching his spastic guitar playing and their drummer was great, (half exploitave cause shes a chick), Every other chick drummer ive seen has been too dainty to plauy drums properly. Plus shes cute. Bass player was a nice guy too, I had a good time singing No Justice No Peace Fuck the System and Fuck the Police. Then they snagged a cock sparrer cover. good job. Emergency: Im a big fan of the Strike and it was fucking amazing. check them out, even played a couple old strike songs. Lancasters: Nice guys, straitforward OI, the best was when the singer was making fun of some dink crust punk while watching emergency. Hanover: Great hardcore Oi. Kinda Exploited but more melodic. Great band nice guys. Pressure Point: This was great, the sound overall for the show was TRASH but some bands sounded pretty good and some couldve been good. Skinhead Justice and Never Had nothing. Their drummer was the nicest guy Ive ever met. Fuckin great. Overall a good show. Not AMAZING although it couldve been. Not sure how the all ager venues are in town but the hall couldve been better and that sound guy should be SHOT. REPEATEDLY. Weve played Vic twice with crappy turnouts and crappy sound. Somehow I think well be back though. Fucking baffels me. Love Joshy - Mon, 15 Sep 2003 12:51am
Brett User Info... | that was a great show, I enjoyed all the bands. Emergency was probably my highlight of the night though, they were fucking awesome. I just wish there had been a bigger turnout. If that show had been in NY or something it would have been packed - Tue, 16 Sep 2003 12:40am
Anonymous User Info... | well of course there would have been more people had it been in New York, silly. New York has lots of people. Victoria doesn't. The show was fun, however. I heart the Rampant. I hate (most) skinheads. - Tue, 16 Sep 2003 4:08pm
starksnow User Info... | I thought it was tons of fun but could have been better. Maybe I just wasn't in the mood for it on the account that I wasn't feeling very good. Too bad about the Atomic's sound. Couldn't hear the vocals at all but the stage presence made up for it. Oh, weel. There's always next year. - Wed, 17 Sep 2003 10:23am
jen User Info... | I thought The Lancasters were fucking incredible. Oi isn't really my big thing but I had a good time at the show. What really bothered me was finding two dirty rigs outside of the fucking daycare. I don't remeber it being as prominent when i first came here a few years ago but now it seems like its just spreading everywhere. I can't seem to go for a walk without finding rigs, or the little water bottles. I think that the cops are pushing the junkies out of downtown so that they aren't as visable. They just settle elsewhere, so it really doesnt make much of a difference. - Wed, 17 Sep 2003 1:42pm
Ty Stranglehold User Info... | You don't know they were dirty. - Wed, 17 Sep 2003 7:42pm

V User Info... | yea it happens like that every few yearsand during the summer (tourist season). the cops push the junkies out of sight and out of mind to the outskirts of town where they ammass and eventually overflow back into the city. and you can bet you will hear the people say "we need more cops to keep our streets clean" insead of "we need more programs to help these people" but this is just a little off topic have you hugged a junkie today? - Thu, 18 Sep 2003 2:05pm
Trailer Park Boy Julian User Info... | Really woulda like to have seen this show... but all ages make me feel ancient... and none of my jackass buddies were down wid it... sucks to be me sometimes I guess...... - Sat, 20 Sep 2003 4:32am
