This show was a fucking blast to play. So much fun and a great crowd, the metal spirit was flowing freely! First up was Desensitized and all I can say is holy fucking christ! These guys tore shit up with a very unique style that reminded me a lot of swedish melodic death metal. Some serious 80s metal influence was at work as well and they had everything from killer grooves to technicality to ripping guitar solos to incredible drumming. Overall an insane act that deserves any metal fans full attention. Next up was the always entertaining S.I.C.K. These guys are a blast to watch and they have a really awesome headbangin groove going on. They were way tighter and more together than last time I saw them, they obviously put in some serious practice. Then Seasons began their melodic metal assault... I felt we played pretty tight and the crowd reaction was very favorable. We had a killer time playing and drinkin and gettin high with all the fellow metalheads and band members, it was definitely worth the trip to Vic. - Sun, 24 Aug 2003 10:00pm

This 'show' was f*ckin' awesome! I loved the venue. We should've had a couple more bands. Anyways, all the bands kicked babies in the fetal skull. Fuck the cops. The sound was f*ckin tight. I was lovin the Slayer covers, well done. HAHAHA! Very impressed by Seasons. Im looking forward to playing a show soon at this venue. Let's do a Halloween show fuck ya! - Tue, 26 Aug 2003 3:38am

yah I hada blast, really cool to see Desensitized other than in our jamspot.. James sure kicks ass on drums these days ( and to think, he ws the original ML7 drummer back when we were just starting.. ) and the dual Jason/Quinch vocals were killer..

The venue is a fun one, ML7 played a new years party there about 3 years ago that went off very well.. - Tue, 26 Aug 2003 2:13pm

S.I.C.K. are an awesome metal band that have been around for a few years. If you haven't seen them live, go check them out next time they play. - Thu, 28 Aug 2003 4:27pm
