Well as usual Elizabeth puts on another great show bad turnout though but there's not alot you can do about that. The first couple bands put out a slaying good sound. I wasn't able to catch every band's name but Within a Vision kicked as and as for Delicious Face, they really need to get their act together. In they're songs the members were constantly out of time, you couldn't tell what tempo they were going at, it just sounded like garbage. The rythm guitar looked constantly confused and the drummer didn't fit in with the band's style. Oh well. - Sun, 17 Aug 2003 4:30pm

Another metalhead eh? Yeah withinavision were pretty damn good. Their bass player shreds. Self inflicted's singer was singing while moshing to get the crowd moving, it was pretty dope. Pariah fucking rule. Damn Lou, you scored with these guys. Fucking incredibly great band. Delicious face covered the haunted, that was cool. Yeah they were deffinately off, I heard that they were having extreme technical difficulties, but I dunno what. - Sun, 17 Aug 2003 4:51pm

Bad turnout? Yeah right. We had 150 people there at one point and fuck, ya can't expect that they are going to stay around for the whole show. Each band had a killer mosh pit and the talent that the community hall observed last night was phenominal. True that D Face did have some off points, but hell, they still ripped shit up. I can't imagine any other way of spending my birthday (Thank You D Face and others who know who you are for that surprise, mmm cake and balloons), both Metal Mayhems were truely amazing and I can't wait for Metal Mayhem III. Thanks to Cheeky for putting on the show. Not a bad turnout at all. And unlike the kids in Victown they moved when the music was playing. Much respect to all of them and the bands who played. - Sun, 17 Aug 2003 10:09pm

Bad turn out? You should have seen our last gig (punk it up)... anyways, thanks to all the people and bands for coming out and showing your support for gigs in Brentwood; it's very much appreciated.

Within a Vision: Missed most of the set unfortunately...but from what I heard, you guys really ripped shit up.
Self Inflicted: great performance - lots of energy!
Pariah: You guys fucking ripped it up! I'm definately looking forward to seeing you guys in the future.
Delicious Face: Still had a great crowd despite some kinks. Note to Metalhead: Hey man, it's not cool to say shit like that. Why don't you offer some friendly advice instead? Have some compassion and understanding... they're fairly new and most members are 18 and under.
Note to Delicious Face: Don't be discouraged by what others say! You guys still put on an awesome show!
Elizabeth: I absolutely love putting on these shows with you... can't wait until METAL MAYEHM III !!! - Mon, 18 Aug 2003 2:34am

Thanks for all the kind words from everyone who was at the show, being my first time on stage, it's allways good to hear I diddn't suck!

And I wanted to say to Delicious Face: Hear you guys went a little out of whack on a song or two, I was out smoking and drinking and trying to cool off throughout most of your set, I caught ya for a few minutes and what I heard was good, don't let one little screw up put a claw in your sides, I'm sure in the future you all will be flawless and hell you've got to be the youngest metal band I've ever heard of putting on a show next to the mighty Decapitated so, HUGE fuckin' kudos to you guys!

And yes for all of yah who've been spreading the word that I'm Pariah's new singer:
Thats not quite right, I did do the show with them, their old singer had to move to another province and the show was booked, I've been jamming with em', and they decided to have me out for that show.

Nothings official yet, we still have more work to do before it's decided weather or not I fit Pariah's sound.
*Though I'll keep ya posted if anything arises*

Within A Vision:
You all kicked as useual, though the sound guy had your guitars up so high at the beginning I thought my ears were going to explode!

Self Inflicted:
Good to finally see you guys, sorta odd that I ended up playing a show with you for the first run!
You guys had a nice solid set, the singer diving 2X into the pit was pretty damn cool.

Thanks/Congrats to everyone who played/set this up, everything about it kicked ass \m/
*though for the future, bands need a designated drinking room ;)*

And lastly to you moshers:
My god, I don't know if we need to teach you moshing lessons or you us!!!! You all were PSYCHO!!!
Running full boar at eachother like feuding bulls it was quite the sight, I don't think I've seen so meny fall over on a hardwood floor before! I'm used to the standard headbang while slamming off of people, but never saw such a slamfest at a local show before! Was pretty cool for my first show though, thanks to all you psychotics! I can't wait to see the video!

I am so pleased at the turn out Metal Mayhem II had, thank you to everyone who showed up and made this a great show.

All the bands put on a spectacular show, you could tell by the energy of the crowd that you were ripping the place up. Self Inflicted, you guys were killer! the lead singer launching himself into the mosh created one chaotic pit that I had a blast in. Pariah, amazing vocals combined with amazing guitars, bass and drums. Only one word can be used to describe it and that is amazing. Within a Vision was killer performance as well, got some good mosh's started. Delicious Face, don't let this performance get you down, the crowd still enjoyed you and you have the potential to do a lot better, I've seen better performances by you.

The Mosh! I had so much fun, despite a couple trips to the ground. Thank you again to the people who showed up and the talented bands. It was worth staying late and cleaning that hall up.
Happy Birthday Elizabeth! hope you enjoyed that cake - Mon, 18 Aug 2003 3:24pm

I am so pissed I missed this show. I saw Self Inflicted at the J.B. Comm. C. and fuck they rip but no one ever moves when they play. What's wrong with the other kids. And of course at this show everyone goes nuts. That figures. They definately don't play enough shows. Not that I can go to a bar show but... I see Pariah all over this web page but I have no idea what they are all about. S.I. and Pariah should play a J.B. Comm. show so we can all see. Bring Tough as Nails and I will be fully satisfied. This is my first post and only because I am so mad I missed this show. - Wed, 20 Aug 2003 1:46am
