ROSS B AY User Info... | Ross B Ay has put together a little variety show of sorts...a party with all our friends, old and new. Everyone is invited. On Saturday, April 11th three completely different kinds of metal bands take the stage at Logan's Public House for your entertainment pleasure. Rotterdam recently opened for Pride Tiger at Logan's, so if you were at that show you know there will be plenty of drinks flowing. Rotterdam bring a little southern edge, but mostly just pummeling riffs and a wall of sound that could protect China from the Mongol hordes to the evening. http://www.myspace.com/rxttxrdxm Peruke aim to grind it up in the name of judge's wigs and pugs. With their newest members in place there is sure to be nowhere to hide. If we are lucky, Doug will be sporting his squash attire and maybe even a racket and ball to challenge anyone who dares. Tread lightly! Quin will be on heightened alert. http://www.myspace.com/peruke S.F.A. have a handful of crossover metal clutched tightly in their hands ready to throw into your eyes. The riffs will flow and heads will bang when S.F.A. roll into Logan's atop cranked amps and freshly stringed axes. They will begin the festivities, so come down early to get the night rollin' right. http://www.myspace.com/VIHCSFA $7 at the door. First band starts when the room is full enough. - Tue, 24 Mar 2009 6:16pm

Mr. Hell User Info... | Interesting mix of bands. Peruke were exceptionally heavy! Chunky riffs and blazing fast parts combined for some grindy delights. Quin was fearsome up there striking dread into every person in the room. SFA shredded! Every song made my head move in an up and down fashion. I'm glad I got to see these guys play and will definitely make a point of seeing them again soon. Good fun. Our set was a little disorganized due to last minute set changes and not having really seen each other since the Pride Tiger show. But when it came time to play, we managed to hold it together. My thanks to everyone who came to the show and an extra extended thanks to all who actually managed to stay till the end. I know some people had to leave due to a potential altercation. Shitty deal. Thanks Logan's! You guys are the life blood of Victoria's music scene. - Sun, 12 Apr 2009 12:25pm
