| Brooke and Leslie | 50/50 Arts Collective - June 20th This was supposed to be a high school dance theme and it definitely captured the atmosphere. During the first set, some guy got socked by his ex girlfriend; lots of wine directly from the bottle, couples groping on the dance floor and microphones feeding back like crazy all added to the ambience. Musical highlights: Genevieve Castree rocking out with the RunchicoRun boys, Grayson's accordian solo. All the bands were good and a fun time was had by all! | Peter User Info... | God, I miss Victoria sometimes. People from other cities tend to criticize or get freaked out by the uninhibited festivities in your little playland but fuck 'em. Vancouver kids are so painfully self-conscious. It sucks so much to go to see a really rocking band and everybody just stands there.
