Grant T. User Info... | That was a chaotic show, good turnout. It's a shame there were so many pictures falling off of the walls but what can you do in such a small venue. I thought the venue itself kicked ass, small and intimate, the staff there was top notch, really cool guys. Could've used a better pa and a few less microphone to the face but other than that the show went well. Sheglang'd Shoulders flew out here all the way from Calgary for 2 shows, this being the first. In your face Skate Punk, who know alot of classic punk covers. Izzo definitely knows how to be a good front man, it's just too bad it was so early in the night and it was hard to get everyone moving, needed more skaters in the crowd. Reaver pumped out some swedish influenced melodic death metal, and did a good job at it. Great guitar playing, great molodies but my favourite part about them would have to be Brandon's Vocals, nice job. Go check them out tommorow night(Tue) @ Logans and see for yourself. I know there were a bunch of video being taken by the Champions of Hell guys but for now here's a little clip of the show from one camera. Thanks to Ira and Champions of Hell for putting this on. BTW, the art show will still be running until January 12th so I suggest going to pick up some killer demonic art. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e83Ijj62kDc - Mon, 15 Dec 2008 8:16am
Bo User Info... | Yeah the show was fun! I will definitely have to get back down there to get a better look at the artwork/merch that was on display. Killer deals on t-shirts too! I thought all the bands did great considering the venue/sound. Everyone seemed to be having a good time with not TOO much bullshit considering random people off the street were wandering in and out. I think ppl were being a little stingy on the donation bin, but meh. Oh and to the Sheglank'd boys: "IT SNOWS HERE TOO FUCKERS!!" hahahaha! Cheers - Mon, 15 Dec 2008 10:33am
T. Depression User Info... | Yeah...really cool venue...and a really fun show to play! Loved the art all over the walls (Zombie Jesus Vs. Robot Hitler blew my mind!), and appreciated the screening of the Zombie Jesus short film. Great venue for shows,etc...I hope to see more stuff there. The whole deal with getting on the bands to start on time, and then not even knowing where the PA and mics were, was kinda lame...as was having the bands sift through piles of shitty mics and chords to piece togther something that worked. As for the pictures falling off the wall...easy solution...turn your amps down! It's a vuneu the size of a living room...you don't need amps the size of fridges to play a venue like that...and if you've got 'em...turn 'em down. Our ride left as Archon Legion was hitting the stage...and I was pissed that I barely got to hear 'em. I dug the tracks on Myspace, and the videos of the set Friday. Shitty... - Mon, 15 Dec 2008 6:11pm

Above the knee User Info... | I definitelly thought it was a really fun show to play aside from the constant threat of falling over in the lake of beer that the stage was reduced to. It was awesome to see Brandon basically have to resort to screaming right into people's faces! Not so awesome watching people spill beer onto my pedals but I guess I should plan ahead for that from now on. I thought the sound on the second level was FAR superior that what you would end up catching at ground level for some reason. I could make Archon Legion out crystal clear as they blasted through Battle Ride and March of the Inquisitors. Sounded great. I wish more people would have been around earlier in the night to catch the whole show since every band had something to bring to the table. Grant, was the whole show taped? If so do you know how I can get my hand on some more footage? Thanks to every who came out! - Thu, 18 Dec 2008 8:50am
Grant T. User Info... | Yeah I'm pretty sure the whole show was filmed. I'll talk to Ira about it and find out how we can get ahold of it. I think they still have to edit it because they're splicing together a couple different angles and camera shots. But yeah, I'll find out and let you know man. - Thu, 18 Dec 2008 12:59pm
