trevor corey User Info... | Neil Young, G.M. Place. Neil Young is my hero. - Wed, 22 Oct 2008 1:27am
trevor corey User Info... | That was the best Neil Young show I've seen. Everest opened first, I thought they were very good, kind of psychedelic. Death Cab for Cutie came on next, and they were also very good. I didn't know either of those two bands before, but I very much enjoyed their performances. Neil owned. Full on electric guitar wizard. He hasn't slowed down at all. My favorite was when he did an epic "Cortez the Killer", the sold out crowd sang along to "Needle and the Damage Done". He had everyone up on their feet by the time he finished er off with "Keep on Rockin". His encore was all Beatles covers. Best arena show I've ever seen. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pnc4-yqB520&feature=related http://www.canada.com/vancouversun/news/story.html?id=a47270a4-ff14-4e0f-ad34-90f7b6810f7f - Thu, 23 Oct 2008 11:28pm Edited: Fri, 24 Oct 2008 12:28am
tom User Info... | good to know he still kicks ass...saw him 15 years ago with Blind Melon and Pearl Jam and I became an instant late-bloomin' fan, he floored me. - Fri, 24 Oct 2008 11:30am
Swingin' Joe User Info... | Did he just stick to the hits? Or mix it up with more obscure songs? Anything from On The Beach, would have been awesome to see live. I wanted to go, low on funds. Shiiit. Glad to hear he still "rockin'". I think it would be the best to see Neil in a more intimate setting. That would be a dream come true. - Sat, 25 Oct 2008 12:09pm
