| Lurker User Info... | Dropkick Murphys played at SnowJam last August, which was held in the grounds right outside of Science World. Good show, weird crowd. Groups of punks and skins everywhere, and a fucking lot of people there to see the Rascalz, Moka Only, and Swollen Members, who all played the same day. Pennywise was fun. | 75Jersey User Info... | One of the only really decent bands and shows that has happened in oh, say the last, before the Red Lion burned, was the Nevermore show. I don't know where or what they are up to nowadays, but when I got to sit down next to Jeff Loomis at the Fox Pub, the evening of the show, had a drink, showed him two different issues of Brave Words and Bloody Knuckles, with them on the cover, that he signed for me, it's hard to beat that. Minus the caliber of Strapping, or Nevermore, it has been or seems like and may be a while until a show of that magnitude happens. - Tue, 17 Jun 2003 3:55pm | ||

Cinematic Orchestra Holly Cole K-Os Radio Berlin Minus The Bear Moneen Radio Berlin Prince Paul Death By Stereo Oh there are lots more, also both JazzFest and FolkFest are here this month. As for next month there is... Erase Errata Ska Fest Tegan and Sara Billy Bragg Michael Franti Boy (ok maybe he's not that great) and coming up later there is Bruce Cockburn George Thoroughgood and if Victoria gets lucky... The Virus If you think there are no good shows here you should move to Kamloops, it would make you appreciate Victoria a lot more. There are tons of good shows in Victoria and lots of diversity too. If you say there are no good shows you are obviously a narrow-minded fool because plenty of great bands come through here. Perhaps crowds sometimes aren't as enthusiastic as they could be, that is my only complaint.
