Self Inflicted - We felt good about playing so I hope it came across well.

Allfather - holy shitamoly! Extremely fast and crazy metal! That drummer musta been on speed! ;)

3 Inches - Just as cool as you would expect. Loved the layered piercing vocals and super high energy on stage!

Great crowd too apart from fuckhead trying to start an injury mosh... - Sun, 18 May 2003 8:07pm
Anonymous BOWLS OF RICE, RUNNING THOUGH YOUR VEINS! BOWLS OF RICE, DRIVING YOU INSANE! - Sun, 18 May 2003 10:00pm
Anonymous I have it on could repoir (myself) that in fact the drummer from allfather was on speed. - Sun, 18 May 2003 11:18pm
Drummer from Allfather Speed?! There was no speed running through my veins last night. Many prosts to 3 inches of Blut and Self Inflicted for putting on a great show!!!! Thanks to Logans for the use of the Hall of Heroes! - Mon, 19 May 2003 2:38am
random nerd Self Inflicted- meh..........I love hardcore, but not so much this style of hardcore. Not the worst opening band I could have seen.
Allfather- un-holy fuck these guys are impressive. I wish I could make it over to Vancouver to see them play with Teen Ctuthulu.............oh well. Excellent.
3 Inches of Blood- Totally entertaining, not nearly as technically impressive as Allfather, but how many bands around here are? Dual high pitched vocals were at the same time hilarious and totally awesome. Good live performance.

Drunk kid roughly moshing into people who were watching the band and not paying attention- not so rad
Dude who dealt with this by trying to hit the guy in the head with his beer bottle- even fucking lamer, I hope you seriously hurt your knee you fucking loser - Mon, 19 May 2003 12:53pm
AA A Note to Mr.Speed Detector: Contrary to popular belief.... it IS possible for someone to play kick-ass drums without stimulants. I just don't understand why people assume and spread such rubbish about a band which deserves nothing but respect for their amazing abilities. I've known the boys of Allfather for a long time and all of them are drug-free. FYI Paul (drummer) would be the last person on earth to resort to that shit, and has spent many years working hard to become the amazing drummer that he is. Nice try tho'. - Mon, 19 May 2003 8:53pm
Anonymous drug free? I have skmoked the herb with em. - Mon, 19 May 2003 9:34pm
Hearing Impaired All the bands were good but Allfather was way too loud. I couldn't make one song out from the next. - Tue, 20 May 2003 7:03pm

yeah I finally wore mine at the show and it made a HUGE difference.

I always wear them when practicing, and usually don't wear them playing live but I did this last show. I couldn't hear shit from any other band member (no monitors anyways) but whateva...

But, the big difference was watching Allfather and 3 Inches. I could hear the other bands clearly for a change, and I could talk to people without my ears hurting because they shout right at them.

Earplugs at live shows... highly recommended. - Tue, 20 May 2003 8:40pm

Well I know that I would react in the same manner if some drunk shithead smoked my girl in the head. I'm guessing that you are "nerd" enough to not have a someone that you care so much about that you would fully LOSE IT at the sight of them being injured by someone esle's stupidity. If some guy hit my wife in the head, he would picking up his teeth(and I'm not a violent person). We protect the ones we love however we can.
It would really suck if you were the one who stepped on his knee though. - Wed, 21 May 2003 12:13am

Violence is pretty sweet i guess, like your partying and things just get out of hand, you know? like a manowar show. Man they rock. Like, i wouldn't want to see my loved ones get hurt by someone else's stupidity, i'm not a steel hearted cyborg in human's flesh with no feelings, if it did happen to me and the damage was done and i knew that the violence would stop if i didn't let my egoboner control me, i'd still probably still thow a few punches to "protect" the helpless ones, you know? just for good measure. Or not. Anyone want to jam , email me. - Wed, 21 May 2003 2:31am

I can't hold my own in the pit (thanks to my freekishly short leg) so i like to see modern day heroes (MY hero isn't gone) protect the innocent. If i have any complaints about the show it would be, not enough violence. I like it when the focus shifts from the music to the hot beefy machomen "dishing it out" in the mosh pit. mmmmm, it's as tasty as an double big mac and a cup of starbucks. I smoked a pinner with the Dave Mathews Band (their drummer WAS on speed), where does that get me? - Wed, 21 May 2003 2:47pm

show rocked, the bands ruled. Three inches were phenomenal. Allfather are unbelievable, makes me want to start playing metal again. Self Inflicted are going to be a big band soon, they've definitely got something there. My knee hurts like hell. Dont hit my girlfriend, and another girl, and I wont lose my mind it's pretty simple actually. - Wed, 21 May 2003 8:57pm
Paul13 How long has 3 inches been around for? What about Self Inflicted I had never heard of them until that nite? The show kicked ass all bands went balls out. - Thu, 22 May 2003 6:06pm
Trailer Park Boy Julian Yes this show was very impressive. Allfather were punishing, heavy, tight, and LOUD.... Three Inches were pretty killer too - good energy and songs!! - Thu, 22 May 2003 7:20pm
