T.T. Pontiac | What can I say? Brilliant theature? What an amzing show! Sly Menstra was in fine form, Thor opened the show, and eventually was brought back on stage to kill Gor Gor. I was moved. About time they came back to Vancouver. - Mon, 28 Oct 2002 12:51pm
matt t User Info... | slymenstra hymen. best show ive ever seen. period. blood, nudity, violence, all the eye candy you could wish for. that gor gor was fucking huge. i dont see the point of watching shows anymore if they arent gwar shows. so much to say, so little i actually will. if you didnt see it, sucks to be you. - Tue, 29 Oct 2002 12:32am
Manimal User Info... | I thought it was a great show, and about fucking time. The crowd energy was good but I really thought the place would've been a little more chaotic than it was. Maybe its been TOO long since they came last. Regardless, they had more props than usual and seemed to have brought a mix of new and old stuff from several of their previous tours. The fire display was great too. They didn't do a lot of that stuff the last time I saw them. The set was a fine mix of old and new. Nice to hear 2 songs off their first release. Also what was with Casey Orr on bass? They said he was gone but that was him on stage. I'm not sure who the lead guitar was. Kudos to the Commodore for hosting them instead of some shitty hall. They sold the place out and I'm not sure everyone waiting outside for late release tix got in. Thor was predictably not a good as Gwar but a pretty good opener as they wet the crowd's appetite. I thought their songs were what really detracted from their set. They seemed all the same and uninspiring at that. Can't wait for the next time they come through. How about peeps who took shots post them? Other opinions? - Tue, 29 Oct 2002 12:33am
matt t User Info... | that wasnt casey orr, that was the dude from lazy american workers. he is fatter and taller than casey, and you could see how much he fucking loved being up there playing. and dont forget that this was a sunday night, people having to work, people recovering from saturady, people going to school. its the best sunday night ive ever had. - Tue, 29 Oct 2002 12:35am
RAZOR | THOR sucked my fat hairy ass, you know, in a bad way. especially when they started chanting "fubar".getting my ass kicked in the pit when GWAR came on was a highlight.that mike tyson costume was FUCKIN HALARIOUS, or the saddam for saddam a go-go.got sprayed with more cum and blood then your mom's used to.good times. - Tue, 29 Oct 2002 2:14am
bitchfromhell | i didn't see the show, but it still doesn't suck to be me, if you've ever looked in a mirror i think you'd know that it sucks to be YOU! - Tue, 29 Oct 2002 6:56am
matt t User Info... | but i saw gwar. mike tyson was wicked, especially when the chest got cut away. i didnt see slymenstra come out naked, so bah to that. i loved the wiping the american flag all over their asses and then spraying piss all over it, that was pretty sweet. nothing beats that gor gor though. - Tue, 29 Oct 2002 10:24am
