sumyungai User Info... | Get up to Logan's this Thursday July 10th to get down to the funk/ soul stylings of Get Up to Get Down. This seven/ eight piece funk band will get you grooving with an array of classic and modern funk hits. The rythm section will get your body moving, the horns will stir your soul to ecstacy, and the vocalists will blow your mind beyond all recognition. It's a damn funky good time. - Sat, 5 Jul 2008 12:16pm

sumyungai User Info... | This just in... Alboa have graciously agreed to open for us. These guys have an amazing blend of jazz and spanish influences. Worth coming down for Alboa alone! - Thu, 10 Jul 2008 6:24pm
trevor corey User Info... | Thanks Anthony. You did a fantastic job on the bass. Fun band, or should I say fun with a ky on the end. Decent crowd. I counted about sixty, all of whom where dancing. I really love Logan's, to bad it has to close so early. I wandered aimlessly downtown afterward, ending up hanging out with Niel in Bastion Square while he played his guitar for spare change and cigarettes. I used to buy weed off that guy back in the eighties. I must say, some of the youngsters that came wandering out of the nearby nightclubs sure are dicks. I guess my generation did to much heroin, drank to much Jagermeister, and had to much unprotected sex, because there sure seems to be alot of twenty year old, hoody wearing, gangsta wanna be Kevin Spencers walking around. I think I stepped in pee. - Fri, 11 Jul 2008 3:59am
sumyungai User Info... | Thanks for the kind words Trev, it was great to see you there. Yeah, we definitely had a blast. I don't think anyone was expecting that kind of response. Can't wait to do it again! Shame you missed Alboa (A Little Bit of Anything), those guys are amazing! I just about plotzed when Johnnie started blowing Coltrane. Un-frakking-believable. They're semi- regulars down at the Superior, so if you get the chance definitely check 'em out. Big thanks to Scott for dealing with a really difficult situation with such grace. And sorry to Logan's that you didn't sell much alcohol, my advice is to comp us more drinks, then when the audience sees us drinking, they'll get thirsty. Just a thought! Or I guess we could take more breaks. Oh yeah, Scott if you read this, I really need my mic! - Fri, 11 Jul 2008 7:13pm Edited: Fri, 11 Jul 2008 7:21pm
