Cruiser User Info... | Thanks Jesse for putting this on and for adding us to the bill. Went pretty well I thought, although it seems Nanaimo crowds don't show up until 12:30am or so! Repulverizer opened and I hope we sounded okay. I broke another E-string, time to start buying better ones, or switching back to the bassoon or something. Sinned was the heaviest thing I'd seen since I've been back here. They not only play brutaldeathgrind, they live it! Totally killer musicianship all around. Two guitars, no bass. Two Dual Rectifiers even. And GM, fittingly, got the biggest mosh pit. Oh, and we got a Slayer cover from them even. Anyway, hell yeah, metal owns Nanaimo. Look at that next Dizzy's gig lineup, ML7, GE, Allfather and 3Inches, that should cave the place in. - Thu, 1 May 2003 8:01pm
Jesse User Info... | yeah it was a pretty good show, You guys sounded a million times better than the Brentwood Show, some killer riffs in there! Sinned was ridiculous! Totally fucking killer technical grind, Dennis has the circular picking down! It's weird that the majority of people showed up at 12:30, when we got on stage I was kinda bummed cause of the turnout, then I look up after 2 songs and the place had at least twice the people... thats nanaimo for you. Definitely gonna check out the Allfather/Ml7/Gallows show! Hopefully 3 inches will headline so I can go to the cambie and drink cheap beer instead... - Thu, 1 May 2003 11:37pm
