Anonymous Too bad they couldn't go on later, but man they sure kicked ass! opened up nicely for Big D and the Smashers... hope we see more of 'em at Steamers! - Fri, 2 May 2003 4:43am
Ska Punker In my humble opinion I thought King Bong was the best band of the evening. Big D and the Planet Smashers, all their songs tended to sound the same, good energy but KB had a much better range. You can hear the Ska influence in King Bongs music but they have moved on from there in a very interesting direction. I hope to hear more of them soon. - Fri, 2 May 2003 11:21am

Thanks Ska punker but really......? Both Bid D and the Smashers were and are amazing..while I appreciate the props I really think all of the bands were great and the two headliners blew me away! I personally love to watch more experienced acts do it up, from purely a learning standpoint I gained so much from getting to see this show, and I got the opportunity to meet some great musicians!
