OK, a drunken review...

Got there after 9, bought a beer, 2 beers later the gig started. Enchanted Fairies was cool, and I got a kick out of the Johnny Cash cover they did (the guitarist had that riff down packed!!!), so they left. I honestly thought it was metal bands only, till Self Inflicted hit the stage around 10:45, these boys ROCKED!!! Really fun intense band, they even covered SOD, but noone realized the tune :( So they left, which brought up Gallows End, wow what a cool band, they rock live, definately worth checking out in the future. Unfortunately I left before Gross Misconduct hit the stage (hey I ran out of money quick). All in all, there was a righteous turnout, the placed packed before I realized how full Logan's got. Must of been the IPAs!!! :) Anyhow, nice to see y'all, it was a good night.

OK here's a trivia question for those who attended the gig, someone got up on stage during the Gallows End set and they covered a song that another band did. Question: What's the name of the band they covered?!? My hearing was so shot, I missed what they said. Peace... out! - Fri, 25 Apr 2003 3:20am

At The Gates - Slaughter of the Soul was the cover, and holy fuck did you miss some serious metal from Gross Misconduct. It WAS a total onslaught from start to finsh. Not something you want to miss next time they play!

That has got to be one of the best metal shows in ages...

It was the singer of Brentwoods DELICIOUS FACE that got up and did Slaughter of the Soul with Gallows End. I believe DF are going to start attacking the scene with a new lineup and shows starting in June. Should be good. And yes if you missed Gross Misconduct then you really missed out. All the bands played solid sets. - Fri, 25 Apr 2003 4:25pm
Anonymous Solid show by all. Self Inflicted tore it up. Good hard metal vocals. Gross misconduct super tight n ' heavy. Gallows good as always. Suprised by enchanted faeries. - Sat, 26 Apr 2003 4:23am

I noticed the United Forces cover too but I was thinking it was Agnostic Front for some reason. Yeah, kickass show, and what a great turnout! That was my first time inside Logan's actually. I had to go before GM came on because I had to get up early on Friday, plus I saw GM in Brentwood and we'll be opening for them tonight in Nanaimo. I think those guys didn't recognize me with my hair tied back! Good ATG cover there by GE. Yeah Wreaker, give me a shout next time you need to fill up a metal gig lineup, we'd love to play with you guys again. Did you get any response from Port Alberni there? We'd be up for that since our guitarist Jordan is from there. - Sat, 26 Apr 2003 9:54am
