| Ty Stranglehold User Info... | The show was great. The Sweathogs played one of their better sets in recent memory(though they're all good). The sound seems to have improved somewhat at Logan's. The Beaumonts were up next, and I've got to say that it was a stellar first gig! Tight rock n roll to keep you on your feet. Matt Hawg is a hell of a singer too. Conch were pretty cool too. Heavy in a Helmet vein. It's really too bad that they had to play last since most of the place cleared out after the Beaumonts. Good show! - Mon, 21 Apr 2003 1:08am | ||
| lily_liquor | Yes, twas a fun show indeed. The Sweaters played all the hits and got the ball rolling in fine form. Then the Blow-pops, err, Beaumonts played a super-tight first show. Yay to Muddy Mudskipper on his 'singing debut'! Apparently Mr. Puke (whom I realized looks just like Gobo Fraggle, but maybe it was the booze)hadn't played a show in 6 years and his drumming was flawless. Matt E and Swilly are a fine team on the geetars...my only complaint is Willy's 'kissy-face' on the bluesy songs. Greg is a fucking kick-ass bassist too. And a used-car salesman. I hereby begin a petition for the Beaumonts to dress in used-car salesmen outfits. All in all, impressive...most impressive. Oh, yeah. Conch played too. I liked them alot. They were all about the 'faster, louder, deeper, harder'. Nice guys too. I kept calling them Gaunch..and telling them to 'pass the gaunch'...they didn't find that as funny as I did. - Mon, 21 Apr 2003 1:47am | ||

| jay brown User Info... | As far as that Turbo negro style ass kickin rocknroll punk. I think the Beaumonts do it better than anyone in this town. I was totally impressed, and strongly advise everyone to go check them out, they are definitely a band worth seeing. Luke rocked, just like he always has.
