Murdawg | Fucking amazing show-----I think the did around 25 songs. His band was so tight, and that guitarist was a GOD up there - Thu, 10 Apr 2003 7:56pm
Delincuencia User Info... | That was a really great show! Everyone should have seen it! It's so nice to see bands who can actually play their instruments! It was a super good time. - Thu, 10 Apr 2003 10:04pm
Trailer Park Boy Julian | It was an amazing show. Frank Black and his band were incredible. I was pretty stoked about this show 'cause I'd never seen Frank Black play before and I'd heard he was now playin' Pixies songs - something he SWORE he'd NEVER do when they broke up! If you are a fan of his music OR the Pixies and didn't go - you missed out. God knows I'd be kickin' myself if I hadn't gone. What did he do? He played 7 Pixies songs!!! SEVEN!!! Started off the show with "Where is my Mind?" and also played "Nimrod's Son", "Mr. Grieves", "Monkey Gone to Heaven", "Gouge Away", "Crackity Jones", and one other one off the Come On Pilgrim EP. AND he played a Pogues cover to start the encore too!! My only regret of the night was missing David Lovering opening up - damn. Regardless, I will remember this show for a long time.... - Fri, 11 Apr 2003 3:47am
Em | Too bad you missed Mr. Lovering!! It was fabulous!! He did science tricks wearing a lab coat and everything! He should get his own show!!! Bill Nye "the science guy" should be afraid...very afraid! - Fri, 11 Apr 2003 10:36am
Delincuencia User Info... | Oh my gawd! A whole five posts and not one of them NEGATIVE! I think this is a record for Live Victoria! Yes David Lovering was quite a suprise! I didn't really know what to expect. It was definitly a nice change of pace btween bands. - Fri, 11 Apr 2003 1:17pm
jason | no question that this was the best rock show so far this year. the sound was fucking amazing in there, and Frank was in fine form. awesome! - Fri, 11 Apr 2003 6:19pm
crap | what was with the nasty wall o gui.when you could actually hear franks tele(straight in)HE sounded fabulous.as with the band being tight big deal tight musicians should be session players, not out with the hopes to entice some actuall originality....garth was fuckin stupid cool even with the bad tone and massive comb-over....anyone buy the tangiers shtick? - Thu, 17 Apr 2003 3:23am
awk | Can't explain the Buzz I felt when Frank opened with "Where is my Mind" . Kudo's to SUGAR for bringing the band in. There was a lot of lost looks at 9 PM , glad I wasn't the only one who was new to "Sugar" the club...I do remember Wastelands/Hurricanes though, yikes. Tangiers was ok..I had no idea they had a "Video" on much music though, and that "Value Village Schtick with the 80's clothes and scruffy shoes" not that keen on...but they played fairly well. - Thu, 17 Apr 2003 9:24pm
