I don't see a thread on this updated show, so here you are.
Himsa pulled out for unknown reasons.
So now it is Three Inches Of Blood headlining, Bison muscling out in the middle slot and Run Like Hell is privileged to open the show.
This will be a hard rockin' bill not to be missed.
Be sure to arrive early!
See you all there. - Wed, 9 Apr 2008 6:33pm

I heard they were so saddened by the Flames making the playoffs that they have cancelled touring until Calgary is knocked out. - Thu, 10 Apr 2008 6:13pm

Gotta TCB, baby! Takin' Care of Business. Yeah. I don't know if that's a beer bottle spot or the last of the snow melt drying off.
Fun show! We had sound issues onstage. Made for a frustrating 15 minutes, but they were ironed out. Most of the crowd seemed to make some sort of noise after songs, so I think we did ok.
Bison were riffing machines. Huge energy and a nice, classic guitar sound. I'll definitely be sure tho check them out more in the future.
3 Inches were tight and full on last night. All that touring has really made them into a live juggernaut that must be witnessed to be appreciated. The falsettos becomes a bit much for me after a while, but that is, as always just my opinion.
Thank you to all those who managed to catch RLH's set!
Thanks to Atomique yet again for being kind enough to include us in the fun. - Sat, 19 Apr 2008 1:04pm Edited: Sat, 19 Apr 2008 1:06pm

Show was alright. I really only went for 3 Inches of Blood and they were pretty sick.

I wasn't a fan of the crowd. It's too bad this was on the same day as the Dayglo show. - Sat, 19 Apr 2008 7:11pm

Best 3 Inches show I've ever seen ... not too stoked on Bison and didn't catch RLH. But Justin on vocals is probably the best thing to happen to 3IOB! Really upped the power of that band and you could actually hear the 2nd vox for once. Would see them again in a heart beat. Not really into the recordings per se but live ... holy shit! - Sat, 19 Apr 2008 8:05pm

I have to agree with Muti. Justin's vocals are way better than that other guy's. For their sake I hope other guy doesn't come back. - Sun, 20 Apr 2008 1:20pm Edited: Sun, 20 Apr 2008 1:20pm

Well, I had a hell of a time, even if I was too drunk by the time RLH's set was over.

All in all it was a good show, once the sound issues worked out RLH slayed dragons. Thanks for the cd, it's a wicked teaser.

I missed Bison. I mean I was in the room while they played, but I really don't remember any of it. Sorry.

3IOB were huge. They really deserve their rep as a 'must-see' live act. I loved it. What I can remember. - Sun, 20 Apr 2008 1:59pm

These images are of Run Like Hell, who put on a kickass show, as per usual. I see these fellas quite a bit, but they always amaze me at how thick and heavy a three piece band can sound.

I liked what I heard of Bison, and most everyone I know is full-on starry-eyed about them -- but I'll admit that I had gotten distracted at that point in the evening.

The crowd was a blessed mix of people that I adore, and perfect strangers. A combination which makes for entertaining encounters, to say the least. - Sun, 20 Apr 2008 7:11pm

I really want one of those discs. I sent an e-mail, but we've been e-mail challenged in the past and maybe it didn't get through? - Sun, 20 Apr 2008 11:42pm

I responded to you this morning, Sir Trev.
It was just a CDR with Super Bread (which is up at http://www.myspace.com/threeheaded -our new url for anyone keeping score) and Future of Misbehavior. I can get you a copy if you really, really want one. I don't require any renumeration, but I have to admit the salmon offer was tempting! - Mon, 21 Apr 2008 5:32pm
