Devotchka the show at big fernwood was totally awesome. Machine Gun Kelly are getting better every show. sounding really tight. Oi! Division rocked my world. Glad they played. hope to see more of that sexy band. The Rampant, what can I say other than it was good to see you guys again. Betty Ford was really good. My friend thinks that the bassist is really hot. Haven't seen the McGillicuddys forever. Fun times for all. - Sun, 23 Mar 2003 1:44am
Anonymous this show would have been better in the little fernwood(i understand shows aren't quite as frequent anymore) the room was huge and boomy..i couldn't hear a damn thing anyone said through the mic's. everyone seemed to have a good time and the bands played well..i did notice that not one drummer used a mat, and the kick drums kept sliding(btw there was a decent mat at the entrance you could have used), machine gun kelly were alot better than i was expecting, nice and fast. i think at all ages shows in general there is too much lighting, i would have ditched the ceiling lights and gone with the light from outside plus the small one used at the p.a. boared, everyone seems to get into it more when its not all lit up. great to see a girl drummer, and she was really agressive! and blind mark ruled too! first time seeing betty ford in years..(who was doing the first avril stuff? ) the turnout seemed pretty good although in that room it looked fairly empty.... - Sun, 23 Mar 2003 11:30am
vds Ya Big Fernwood kind of sucks, but the bands were good. All the bands were really good, (especially the band doing sk8er boi!!). I hope this all ages one is followed by lots more. Down with the bars, especially with the 2 pieces of id thing now. - Sun, 23 Mar 2003 6:03pm

I came in during the beginning of the Rampant's set... and the rest of the night was history. The show was lots'o'fun and helped take my mind off some shitty things that are happening right now. I don't make it out to allot of all-agers, and these events make it worth every penny (100 pennies, to be exact). All-agers generally bring out a more diverse crowd than bar shows, it sucks that Victoria is looking pretty bad for venues for all-ages gigs right now.

OK, I was pretty drunk, and during the McG's set, a friend later told me that I was dancing like Elvis (and was laughing "with" me), which I chose to take as a complement. Too bad there weren't more people up front, making fools outta themselves like me. - Sun, 23 Mar 2003 7:12pm
The Little One It would have been better if I wasn't so tired. But that was my problem. The bands however were kickin'. I used to hate Machine Gun Kelly with a passion, but now I'm starting to like them. The Rampant and Oi Division were both tight, and Joey was on fire with all that Avril. Say, Joey you and Avril should have a face off, you'd win hands down.
Betty Ford, haven't seen em for a while so I was happy to see them play. And the Mcguillicutys were better than I remember. I loved the Running Riot cover. - Sun, 23 Mar 2003 10:41pm

Last night's show was grand. It showed that there is still hope for all ages shows in victoria, for all the crappy ones that have been going on lately (care of the Zone and friends) M.G.k. Were not bad. same as always. Oi division were grand. Quite liked. The Rampant i had not seen in a very long time. Quite good...... fuck all the bands were good... Well done Mr Fancy and friends. - Sun, 23 Mar 2003 11:32pm

Jo Fancy - shady motherfucker, awesome show.

Did somebody just describe Oi! Division as being tight? They made my night for sure... but.... tight??? I think they were my favorite band of the night, but tight is just not the right word here. Sorry. - Mon, 24 Mar 2003 1:56am
Devotchka I said that M.G.K were tight, not Oi Division. - Mon, 24 Mar 2003 12:13pm
