trevor corey User Info... | OH YEAH! Heather, you are my new favorite promoter. It has been way to long since the last Dayglo's show, plus all those fantastic openers, for only twelve bucks. I strongly encourage any youngsters on this board who haven't experienced live Dayglo Abortions to not miss this. One of Victoria's best ever bands. - Sun, 23 Mar 2008 4:57pm

Don't bother bringing booze, drugs, or harmfull objects as they will be taken from you. We want to keep this place up and running for all ages. Cheers* - Fri, 2 May 2008 10:44am
trevor corey User Info... | I bought a ticket for this before I got a ticket to the Lucky show. Now for reasons I'm not a liberty to discuss, I can not attend tonight's show. If anyone wants a free ticket, post yer phone number and I'll meet you somewhere and drop it off to you. I'm going back to bed now for a couple of hours, so don't expect a response till around 4 or five. - Sat, 3 May 2008 1:50pm

ricky jak User Info... | ...... Heather puts on this show.... an All-age show.... and its maximum capacity plus. Since when has there been a All-Age punk show that was maximum capacity? That is a question. Now I love punk and have been going to punk shows for some years now.... But this show the tables turned on me. I drove my little daughter and my son to this show... I just felt old and confused. All-Ager I was into punk because i was angry with the way i was brought up, the way the mainstream was, and inside my head it was just pissed off and "ARGHHH FUCK". Inside my head, The Dayglos where a perfect part of the soundtrack. Now i drop off my kids to this All Ager chaulked full of punks who want to slam dance... or MOSH as they call it today. It's sold out and this is what the kids want to see.... "Alcohlic White Trash", "Lesbien Fist Magnet", and "Dayglo Abortions".... Not "Sober Feel Good about yourself white People", "Gay Women Helping Hand" and "Sunshine Have a Baby"... I drive back home and sit on the porch and assess this punk rock thing that has been such a big part of my life. I'm Thinking too much and basically because I no longer run to the govenment regulated fire water store to slow down the mix master of thoughts that go on in my head. hey if the government thinks its fine to sell booze that causes many of fight and DEATH than why aren't they regulating and selling that fuckin WEED i saw some kids out-side the show doing. I know not all the punks at that show wanted to get wasted but i sure did back when i was a punk in the eighties. I sat on my porch and thought too much, instead of beeing with my kids at the show.... What kind of father lets thier kids go to a show like that. My father was not around when i was a kid and the step father just made me feel how some punk music feels. "Lets beat beat beat the shit out of the little fuckers" I remeber back twenty-five years ago the parents of my little brothers friends coming into that same hall and taking thier sons out of a punk show. I think the Dayglos played that show also and maybe it was Casteration Anxiety, No Exit and the Gents of Horror on the bill. It was a great show and I think Jesus Bonehead might have even played nude at that show.... I just love a nude man on stage. Anyway as i sit and think too much about my 41 years on this planet and the punk and mess i have been around... i jumped in my car and went back to the show to make sure my kids where safe. I arrive and I stood on the side with my friend who is a highschool teacher and watch my little daughter who i love soooo much scoot around and have fun dancing with her friends. My son who i aslo lovve sooo much is also in the mix haveing a good time also... Murray belts out the songs that he wrote 25 years ago and they stand the test of time. It's punk and although it meant alot of anger inside for me, I realize it doesn't mean alot of anger for others..... i guess. just do whatever makes you happy, life is tooo short. People love evil... smoke a joint and have another beer. Or be sober and breath clean air just LOVE your friends and family or "Kill MOMMY WITH YOUR AUTOMATIC" My kids where safe and had fun! Thanks agin Heather for puttin out great alternative music shows with 7 foot doormen with pentagrams tattooed on the back of thier necks. God loves you.... somebody please admit me for mental assessment. cheers and love -ricky JaK - Mon, 5 May 2008 1:56am

Mutilashawn User Info... | "Not "Sober Feel Good about yourself white People", "Gay Women Helping Hand" and "Sunshine Have a Baby"..." That's the funniest thing I've read in a long time! - Wed, 7 May 2008 6:34pm
Sati User Info... | Yeah, I loved that whole diatribe, I wanna meet you one day Ricky Jak! Kinda speaks for a lot of meandering thoughts in some of our minds. "...although it meant alot of anger inside for me, I realize it doesn't mean alot of anger for others..... i guess." Not always anger, but intense feelings of various types. I get really fired up at certain shows, but fired up in different ways. I feel really lucky that I'm able to feel the full range when seeing music though - rage, joy, pride, hate, tenderness, disgust, love, pity etc. It takes a very cool band to inspire emotions of opposite ends of the spectrum to that intensity in people! - Wed, 7 May 2008 8:47pm Edited: Wed, 7 May 2008 8:52pm

trailbuilder User Info... | Woohoo! Awesome show guys! Thanks to the promoter and the mighty Dayglos for putting this on. Your music has brought a lot of enjoyment to my friends and I over the years. Without a doubt the greatest band ever to come out of Victoria, yea, even Canada!!! Now my only hope is for a punk-o-rama type festival headlined by the Dayglo Abortions this summer ;) (yeah, and I want a Dayglos Tooque - what could be more Canadian than that... c'mon stitch some up, I'll buy five!) long time fan, trailbuilder - Fri, 9 May 2008 9:14am
