Brian VIHC User Info... | I'm not meaning to shit-talk, as this is just hearsay, but I've heard a rumour that the singer is from Ontario and speaks in a fake Southern US accent...please someone in attendance at this show confirm or deny this. Mr. Hell User Info... | Welp, Run Like Hell has been added to the bill officially (as far as I know). So I guess that may throw a wrench into your plans a little, Gibas. The order of appearance could change from one minute to the next so you might have to sit on the sidewalk while we defile the room. - Wed, 13 Feb 2008 5:33pm Edited: Wed, 13 Feb 2008 5:34pm

Mr. Hell User Info... | We can celebrate by doing navel shots off each other. Jaws are an intense, off the rails kinda band with a vocalist who does a fair amount of screaming. Good at what they do, fo' sure. - Sat, 16 Feb 2008 1:03pm Edited: Sat, 16 Feb 2008 1:04pm

Nicholas Antoni Marek Gibas User Info... | an intense, off the rails kinda band with a vocalist who does a fair amount of screaming. Doesnt that describe a lot of bands??? :P Jaws is kinda crusty punky hardcore. http://www.myspace.com/jawsjams they RIP. - Tue, 19 Feb 2008 1:37am
Mr. Hell User Info... | They also have a lot of parts that groove in the vein of metal. It seems to be getting more difficult for me to pinpoint bands genres these days. Aging rapidly. - Tue, 19 Feb 2008 7:51am
trevor corey User Info... | Naw you're not aging rapidly, it's just the aged, ripe cheddar from Joe's unwashed naval that is causing mild dementia - Tue, 19 Feb 2008 2:35pm Edited: Tue, 19 Feb 2008 2:36pm

trevor corey User Info... | Great show. So good I had to call Dial-a-Driver, 213-2901, program that into your cell phones. I picked up the last copy of Jaws' cd. Should be killa. Thanks to the dude working the merch counter who sold it to me, he was planning on keeping it for himself. It was nice to hang out with good people tonight, but the highlight of the evening for me had to be meeting Swinging Joe, live and in person. - Sat, 8 Mar 2008 2:51am Edited: Sat, 8 Mar 2008 2:54am
trevor corey User Info... | Take note Victoria.... RUN LIKE HELL seriously - Sat, 8 Mar 2008 3:13am
mikey User Info... | Run Like Hell put on another riffalicous, bass-tasic, beatnormous show. The monstrous sound gets under your skin and into your core and doesn't let you stand still. Great show guys, despite being about 15cm from the scorching lights. I too had the distinct pleasure of meeting Swingin' Joe. He's much better looking in person. The bar's devious strategy worked, I ended up drinking about twice what I had planned. Oh yeah, Jaws sounded okay, not really my thing, and I missed the Bats. Sorry guys. - Sat, 8 Mar 2008 8:52am
Mr. Hell User Info... | Fun night! Great to see Trevor Corey, Swingin' Joe, Swearin' Kirk, Ward Ensemble and Mikey out on the town! Thanks to everyone who came down. Pretty good line-up I must say. All different bands, yet we all kind fit together in some ways. We had a blast playing and enjoyed the luxury of good stage sound. Thanks Rory and Rory's helper. Jaws were pretty chaotic. A little too much for me, but they are great at what they do and really good guys to boot. Cancer Bats had riffs that reminisced the stuff I grew up listening to. Excellent live sound and energetic stage presence. The vocals were good, but became a bit samey after a while. With some variation these guys would completely kill. Shitty that their van was invaded by scum who took a laptop and some passports. Couldn't have happened to a bunch of nicer guys. Goes to show you can't take your van's security for granted no matter where you are. Hope they get their passport issues sorted out in time for their trip south. Thank you Atomique for thinking of us and Liam and Lucky for hosting and the inspirational Jager bevvy before our set. - Sat, 8 Mar 2008 11:21am Edited: Sat, 8 Mar 2008 11:21am
Swingin' Joe User Info... | Awww man, what a party! Good times indeed. It was nice to finally meet you Trevor Corey, Mikey. Hopefully my drunk ass didn't offend you guys, haha. Run Like Hell has improved so much since the last time I've seen them. And it was good to see people I hadn't seen in awhile. I didn't watch too much of Jaws but from I heard they were pretty decent. Cancer Bats were awesome as usual, watching the guitar player is somethin' else, that guy is a madman! Really rad show, can't wait to catch more of Run Like Hell. - Sat, 8 Mar 2008 11:46am
Nicholas Antoni Marek Gibas User Info... | Jaws were pretty much the best thing to hit this island this year. - Sat, 8 Mar 2008 1:31pm
