helonwheels User Info... | I only saw Dog Eat Dogma- good fun for sure! Had to cut a rug. What?! Why am I the lone dancer? Nobody else dances! What the heck's with that?? I missed Self Inflicted and Christ Complex, sorry. Love to hear about the other bands. - Sun, 9 Mar 2003 6:23am
Wreaker of Havoc User Info... | Self Inflicted ripped shit up. Vocals were like a cross between Pantera (without the radio vocals) and Sepultura (not the cookie monster vocals). DRI ish bass , Wicked drumming and chunky heavy guitar. Music that breaks the hearts of young lasses. They were even better than I had expected them to be. Dont miss them next time. I didnt see the other 2 bands as I went to the kegger - Sun, 9 Mar 2003 11:58am
BBJones User Info... | Glad you enjoyed it, Wreaker :) I think we were all pretty happy with it being our first show... I sure hope that was a great kegger (how could it not be?!) but you missed two fucking awesome bands! DOG EAT DOGMA played an outstanding set! I was expecting something different since I heard one tune from their website, but they were way more agressive than I thought they would be. Totally entertaining to watch and listen and DAMN they were loud! :) CHRIST COMPLEX was just as fucking heavy as I thought they would be. If they ever get back over here... DON'T MISS THEM! I haven't been out to too many shows in the last few years, but these were definitely two of the best bands I've seen play in this city. It was pretty cool we got to open for them ;) And if anyone missed us (and is bothered by that fact) I think we're playing Soundgarden this Wednesday (March 10). Keep Metal Evil! - Mon, 10 Mar 2003 10:49am
ML7Mike | Missed everyone except Christ Complex, and they did kick ass.. very cool. Musta been hot under those masks though.. - Mon, 10 Mar 2003 6:45pm
Criss Crass User Info... | Thanks to any of our friends who came out to see our first show. Catch us at Soundgarden on Wed. nite in battle of the bands before we go back into hiding and write the rest of our set. - Mon, 10 Mar 2003 7:04pm
Ty Stranglehold User Info... | Great show! Sorry bout missing SI, but I'll see you on Wed. Dog Eat Dogma were unexpectedly great. I had an old CD of their s that I really didn't like. The show was another story though. Loud and heavy! Christ Complex were rad too, but the best part about them was the fact that their bass player turned out to be a guy I grew up with and hadn't seen in over fifteen years! Weird shit! Bottom line: GOOD TIMES! - Tue, 11 Mar 2003 1:48am
