trevor corey User Info... | I enjoyed this very much, in a differant way than a NHL game. This pre-season stuff is a chance to get a real ggod look at the prospects, the future if you will. Prospects that really stood out to me were, on defense-Alex Edler, Shuan Heska, and Daniel Rahimi. offence- Jozef Balej, Juraj Simek, Rick Rypien, Pierre-Cedric Labrie, Ryan Shannon, and Mason Raymond. in net- Julien Ellis, and Corey Schneider The crowd in Winnipeg are in for an exciting season. The veterns that stood out were Markus Naslund, Kesler, Cowan, Ritchie, Bieksa, and the twinkle toe'd scoring machine Taylor Pyatt. Disappointments- Bourdon and Grabner. - Sun, 16 Sep 2007 8:04pm Edited: Sun, 16 Sep 2007 9:23pm

Meantime Mike User Info... | How can you be disapponted with Grabner, he had 4-5 good shots on net including a few rocket propelled wristers.. - Mon, 17 Sep 2007 11:54am

Meantime Mike User Info... | Anyhow, yeh I agree T/C the team are looking good this year in camp and key propects are showing good strength and speed, Naslund and Morrison look like their injuries are gone for now which was such a factor last year. Unfortunately Salo is out already and Linden pulled his groin and Luongo got slashed in the neck, but the word is he is ready for tonights game vs Anaheim, whether or not he'll play this early in the pre-season is unlikely though. Goalie prospect Corey Schneider was GREAT out there too, and backup Curtis Sanford shows his experience. As far as Defence and Goalies go this year that is not going to be a problem, with the amount of depth available, now they just need the scoring to come through... What team you pickin to win the cup this year Round Me Pu? - Mon, 17 Sep 2007 12:01pm
Zippgunn User Info... | Neither Naslund nor Morrison missed a single game due to injuries last year. They were not injured; they simply didn't play very well. For about the third year in a row. Quit making excuses for these useless bags of meat. Nonis should dump them both, especially Naslund. - Mon, 17 Sep 2007 2:59pm
trevor corey User Info... | People are wrong about Naslund. He works his balls off out there. Heart and soul. In the intra squad game he showed why players of his calibre are called stars, he shined brighter than anyone else around him. Morrison may not of missed any injury time (that's because he is an ironman), but he was in recovery mode most of the season after last summer's surgery. He'll be just fine. They are both worth every penny. I predict increased scoring this year from people like Naslund, Mo, Kesler, and especially Pyatt, but also more grinder scoring from some of these kids. - Mon, 17 Sep 2007 3:08pm
trevor corey User Info... | .....plus the fact that Vigneault won the Jack Adams last year will give the team confidence in him, and that will show with everyone buying in. Remember, last season was a "rebuilding" season. Last season they won the Northwest Division. - Mon, 17 Sep 2007 3:11pm
round em up User Info... | Yes, but unfortunatly for you and your kind, even 100 division titles in a row doesn't, won't,and will never add up to 1 Stanley Cup Banner, the likes of which are harder to find in Vancouver than it is to find a nun in a whorehouse.... - Tue, 18 Sep 2007 2:59pm
