trevor corey User Info... | One of the best shows I've ever been to was Alice In Chains at Harpo's back in the early nineties. I can't remember exactly the year, good times back then. The opener was supposed to be Mother Love Bone, but the lead singer overdosed and died, so with the addition of Eddie Vedder they temporarily were calling themselves Mookie Blaylock. The guys in Mookie came out during A.I.C.'s performance to mosh with us in the pit. Months later I was watching a rock video for a song called "Alive", by a band named Pearl Jam and realized that those were the guys I was moshing with. The rest is rock history. R.I.P. r_o_b_s_o_n User Info... | If I'm not mistaken, did Nirvana not also play that show with Alice in Chains, and Mookie Blaylock?? I would have given both my nuts, and all my toes to see that show.... - Fri, 14 Sep 2007 6:24pm
trevor corey User Info... | No, Nirvana came later, to the Forge. Only about seventy five people showed up. Al Mumford interviewed the band for that one. There may even be some sort of recording. - Fri, 14 Sep 2007 8:23pm
