MindlessMikeyJay User Info... | Well heres my review. I have waited almost 11 years to see them due to work and other crap. And i can honeslty say i was very disapointed. This is my favorite band. Yes, I did get to meet chino and abe. BUT the sound to me was muffled. The power went out for them 2 times. And they couldnt even finish one of the best songs of the set due to the power. Yes, they were cool enough to give ppl beer and be playful and cheery about it. But the crowd were idiots. I know its a hard rock/metal concert but there was no music going at the time ppl were deciding to shove each other and everyone at the front. My wife is hurting right now and bruised around her stomach. I didnt have fun Period. Its nice to hear some of your favorite songs live but if your not having fun ther eis no point staying. By the way if anyone picks up a Black and Grey THRASHER" Trucker hat, i lost it and i would like to get it back somehow. its my favorite hat and i've had it for more than 4 years. Chino is the reason why i got it. Goofy yes, but to me no. Stupid me for wearing it. OH YEAh, Die Manniquien suck the nut. and this is a picture of my hat - Mon, 9 Jul 2007 11:16pm
trevor corey User Info... | My best friend died tonight and I couldn't have dreamed a better way to release my pain than a Deftones mosh pit. I'm covered in bruises and welts and a bit of a shiner under my left eye. I'll wear it with pride. It ruled so hard. Thank you Deftones, thank you. ......the heat, man, the heat. - Mon, 9 Jul 2007 11:56pm
The Wolf User Info... | That was a Sauna, Hot Hot Hot, The Floor was covered in sweat from front to back... DIE Mannequin I thought was Awesome and the Highlight of the night, I am GASsing for a Mark Bass set up , that Bassist just cut through the noise.. I bought the CD cant go wrong for $5 Deftones meh I was up front and still not sure what the problem was... It appeared to me the Keyboardist/etc guy spazzed and left... If it was a power problem wouldn't techs be running all over the stage? The sound was good too me but I am not a deftones expert...The vocals sounded crystal clear to me - Tue, 10 Jul 2007 1:24am

Hang the DJ User Info... | I actually thought I was in hell it was so HOT in there. I only ran into the mosh pit for my favourite songs and then spent the rest of the time away from sweaty, stinky people. I have some strange mark on my leg from some guy who fell and clutched my leg.. it's all red and weird.. thanks whoever you are.. Oh, and nothing like drunk dudes hitting on you either, putting their sweaty arm around you.. yuck.. As for Die Mannequin, I gave their cd a listen at work the day before, didn't make it past 2 songs, but they were actually pretty good live... Ummm yeah and I was being really annoying at the concert and dancing and making weird metal vocals soooo sorry to anyone I pissed off. - Tue, 10 Jul 2007 1:44pm
alain User Info... | Show kicked ass. I was up at the front, and people sure wanted my spot. A half-dozen guys were throwing any limb they manage at any pressure points I have, including attempted knees to the crotch from the back, but I stood my ground, and it rocked. Sweaty as hell. Soaking through jeans isn't the easiest thing to do. The floor was a gross realization for sure. The power problem, staff friends tell me, was that they were running off their own generators, and the generator for their sound equipment was on the fritz. I think I saw your hat make it to the front. I didn't pay too much attention to what it looked like, but it was the same colour. The security guy at the front grabbed the hat and put it under the stage. Good chance someone took it up to the lost and found once they started tearing down, so have a look there. - Wed, 11 Jul 2007 1:04am
