Although Ricardo seems like a nice guy, I don't know if his material will keep the people entertained... http://www.myspace.com/bleedingthrough - Tue, 15 May 2007 5:16pm Edited: Tue, 15 May 2007 5:16pm

Ah, the Bleeding Through page used to be some dude anmed Ricardo's page with no music on it. Now it has been changed to the band's page. I was wanting to hear their music and see what all the fuss is about.

Hmmm, the music is not bad. The vocals are kinda try-hard and the clean vocals remind me of overly polished trailer hitches. Plus those lyrics are way too emo for my hardcore, manly palette.
Nevertheless, I would like to see this show. But there are too many shows to see this weekend. Damn money lacking. - Thu, 24 May 2007 6:23pm

It was a good show, all four bands were on their game.

Riskey Business would probably have been more at home at an AA'er but still rocked it, good tight hardcore and a cro-mags cover.

The End KILLED IT, their new material is quite a departure from their last two disc's but its really grown on me. Their live set was extremely tight and they worked the stage like pros. Definatly listen to the new disc but don't expect the same The End as their last two, but its still heavy and still really good.

Bleeding Though real tight, some good riff's and hooks as Mr. Hell said a bit more on the emocore side of things but no slouches on the rocking out. Probably the most seasoned band of the night looking totally at home on the stage.

Cacner Bats are of course more raw metal influenced hardcore. Motorhead meets Black Flag would be a decent description I think and they had a bunch of people screaming along...

definatly a fun show!! And i'm looking forward to another gooder tonight! - Sat, 26 May 2007 1:25pm

risky business were my favourite part of the night and pretty much the reason I came. too bad almost nobody was at sugar at that point, or everyone was hiding. I felt out of place dancing with everyone just standing there but there was still a lot of energy from the band. awesome times and awesome dudes.

the end were okay. I've played them on my radio show a bunch but I didn't really have the patience for their entire set. they're good and stuff, I just don't have a lot of interest in that kind of music I guess. they looked like theset if theset decided to play more metal kind of stuff. I completely forgot about the end the first time I saw them and I will probably continue to remember them as average. at least the crowd liked them a lot.

I was pleasantly suprised by Bleeding Through. I usually associate that kind of band with their fans, the kind of attention-seeking myspace makeup kids, but maybe that's not fair. I'm not really down with the singing and melodic interludes but they had a good amount of cheesy breakdowns, some fast stuff, interesting riffs, and the keyboard was actually tasteful. Then again, I like Bury Your Dead, so take that how you want. I'm not really into the fact that there were a couple scummy kids trying to take out the people who were hardcore dancing and minding their own business but whatever. I probably wouldn't ever listen to Bleeding Through regularily but at least I can say I enjoyed their set.

Cancer Bats were fun but are not really my style of hardcore, it is great to see all the support they get though. My girlfriend loves this band but was too young to come to this. I sort of wish this had been an all ages show but I understand the modern issues with all ages shows. This show had a good turnout though.

Thanks Scott for letting me give a few guest spots away on my radio show, keep listening to Pterodactyl Sneak Attack on cfuv 101.9, fridays at 4pm, for more possible Bosevus giveaways. Oh and hey, speaking of Bury Your Dead, you should bring them over here Scott! Just an idea. Keep up the good work! - Sun, 27 May 2007 10:44pm
