So, I went to Monty's to watch the fights with my cousins cause I'm into martial arts, whatever. Not bad, St Piere got pwned, 2bad, ohwell.
Check the blackberry to see whats going on. Livevic says Sevenyearoldpoets @ Steamers. I never listened to SYOP before, but if J Baker says they be band of the month, well thats good nuff for me.
Anyways, I gave waitress a plastic card and said keep the singlemalt a flowin. So, not sure if its the scotch talking, but Seven yrea old Poets didnt suck, not at all. In fact I thoufght they were very good. Picked up their cd, cause thats what I do. They sounded like Sonic youth meets Tragically Hip. I got the feeking I was watching a band that I would one day brag about seeing in a small venue. They played two sets, played until closing. Even played a Doors cover. Good band, Trevor enjoyed.
To hammered to remember the name of openiong band but, the lead singer is a triplew threat. He can dance, play harmonica and has hella vox. Keep on rockin kid!
Sorry to staff for the broken glass, accident, really, diidnt mean too.

I agree. Even sober, the seven year old poets are quite listenable. I'm not that good, and I'm 8! - Mon, 9 Apr 2007 2:34pm

I found my reciept from the show. WOW. I drank alot of single malt, and somebody got a good tip! At least I didn't spend any money on "coke". - Wed, 11 Apr 2007 1:22am
