| J. Peatman User Info... | I got there at 10:30 too, waited 20 minutes and the door guy let a huge group in. Should have stuck around for a bit, Ron! The crowd was a strange mix of metalheads and whiggers who for some reason ended up at an extreme metal show. Who was that annoying clown with the hoodie, baseball cap and black facepaint that was hanging out on stage during 2/3 or AW and HoA's set? Fuck I hate that "look at me, I'm hanging with the band"-center of attention thing. Missed the Faeries due to the wait outside. AW had some very good riffs amidst alot of very samy Enthroned-worship. Great sound though - which is not very black metal ofcourse. Ahem. Horde was tight and I can definitely see them going places. Highlights for me were the Emperor and Carcass covers...very nicely done! I was approaching the bathroom after their last song when Chad announced Heartwork...and decided my bladder could definitely endure 5 more minutes of suffering. - Sun, 18 Feb 2007 11:39am | ||

And you’re welcome to the member I gave the bud too, just glad you guys made it over to the rock . And to repeat what J.P said the guy on stage was hela funny, but the dude with the Flava flav /pretty fly for a white guy complex and the rest of his posse were a spectacle too behold, fo shizzle! And was there a punk show going on somewhere else in the club I didn’t know about? wtf? Hehehe! Congrats to Dr.Doom and Ms.DrDoom for being together for three years, and also finagling himself into winning the draw last night! You fucker. lol! Horde of Anachron where simple amazing, not that I was surprised . But more like how tight you’re getter.! +1 and to each a hooker! Probably your best show that I’ve seen! Here’s a funny, someone who knows you guys unnamed came up to me and said “ Damn these guys are good?!” and I return “meh, of course they are, they always have been?!lol “. They go “ no, I mean real good” … I just shrugged and laughed, what could I say?! Lol! I guess some go for other bands and just tune out others or sit outsider smoking? But for sure you caught their ear and converted a unknowing victim over to the horde. I myself was converted when you did a private show for Neuraxis a few years ago back at the jam spot. You guys looked and sounded good up there and I can see big things going your way. Good show! Anyway, enough bag licking. We ditched right after the last song ended, to hit last call at evos. No idea if anyone partied after? We all went down to the Dizzy new/er?old? Jamspot , thought we might see you guys down there? It was hopping at the Dizzy spot and thank you again(two night in a row) Stefano for letting us abuse your spot, fuck man I might as well start paying rent! Hehehe! Great night, to bad for all the others who couldn’t get in. And the only thing I can say is, there’s nothing wrong with a little bribery sometimes or big tips to get you in, I’ll tell you knowing people in the bands has never got me in a show except for 1 show with Desensitised on a guest list and that would be hundreds of shows in over 10 years. | kaos User Info... | enchanted faeries played a good and intense set. got to meet a couple of them, friendly chaps. horde of anachron are simply amazing. one of the best bands in canada. glad some people enjoyed AW set. | Heather User Info... | I was working the door for the show that night and there was advance tickets sold. Those tickets have to be accounted for, for fire regulations and capacity issues. Through out the night they were able to let more people in every so often people because of people coming and going. I have to say I really approved of tickets being sold in advance allowing some of us to stake our claim. Some people don't even get off work until 10 or 11.
