| trevor corey User Info... | Yes Griphin, the Remanes rocked. That is such a great band. I feel priviliged to experience such an amazing act in such an intimate venue. Smoked Out Brainzzz also rocked. Alot of talent on stage tonight. Thanks Matt for the deal on your entire discography. Couldn't make the afterparty. Home early tonight. I like the venue. Tight security and early shows, but a comfortable, loungy venue. I've always liked the fake palms and Corinthian pillars. | Mean Mike User Info... | Was a decent show.. good sound and EXTRAVAGANT lights .. with lasers even. Remanse sounded really good up on the big stage. And SOB's keep gettin better, the hard work is really showing now in their music. Their new keyboardist was a bit deflated though.. Bouncer situation was absurd.. pat down, metal detector, pat down.. everytime you go in and out.. I literally walked out for 5 seconds to look for someone then back in and still got my 5th pat down of the night ( make it 10th when done twice everytime.. ) Was a fun night though, jammed out at the after party till the wee hours.. Didnt expect to see Gene Hoglan at a SOB gig but there he was, couldnt get him to play the crappy drumkit back at the party though hehe... - Sat, 10 Feb 2007 12:48pm | ||

| Mean Mike User Info... | Its pretty funny near the end of the bands set, all the twinkies and homies walking in and some of their expressions when they hear live music for the first time ever is quite funny.. one 17 year old looking plastic face girl in line in front of me, near the end of the show.. the bouncer gives her and her friends free UFC tix then hands me one and she starts going off on how lucky I was to be with them that I got a free ticket.. When I pointed out to her that they give those tickets to EVERYONE (and often with a free stack in the beer store.. ) she looked at me like I was from another planet ( which I am..) and called me an asshole haha.. guess I dashed her VIP dreams... - Mon, 12 Feb 2007 1:18pm | ||
