| Wreaker of Havoc User Info... | Fuck ya. Havent had that much fun in a long time. Thanks to Blind Marc and Knuckles for hooking us up with this outrageous bill. Ive heard complaints about the sound in Thursdays but the new stage and the sound last night was great. Gallows End opened this debacle with something new. We played some metal tunes....then came the Shivs. Blind Marc was knockin shit off tables with his cane and screamed half his set laying flat on his back!!! They played a tight set of tit grabbing Blind Core setting the stage for Vancouvers JAK Uzi (formerly the Wet Ones)to crank out some rawk/punk tunes. | jay brown User Info... | I agree the new sound at thursdays makes a huge difference. More often than not when I'm there I'm on stage so I dont really get to check out the crowd side. The only thing that I personally think is that they need a few more drum mics. I've noticed it before and I still think the drums tend to get drowned out a lot. If your going to mic everything else get them to turn down a bit, and even it all out in the mix. Instead of having the amps cranked, cause then you have a bunch of mics on the amps that are doing nothing at all, and a couple of mics on the drums that cant keep up with the sound. Other than that the show was great, good turn out, a lot of faces I havent seen in a while, had a great time. The bands all rocked. - Sat, 8 Feb 2003 3:05pm | ||

| {}{} User Info... | Whatever last nite's show was extremely GAY! The sound sucked and so did the bands. Without blind Mark and his antics the nite would have been pretty lame. | Matt D. User Info... | Dunno how many pitchers went around... yeah that sidewalk by the patio looked like it needed a little half-digested nacho on it, so I obliged. It was much more fun puking out of the cab later tho (and getting spray on the inside of the cab door too, poor guy probably had to clean it up)... All in all a fun night. You couldn't hear the drums, and there was virtually no mosh pit, but Gallow's shredded and I thought the shivs were pretty damn good.
