Well,

That was an amazingly awesome show, every band slayed in their own different way which made the show very interesting. No one went though! WTF, you all missed out big time, you suckers.

N-7 were so tight that I thought they were playing to a CD or something, wow. Very impressive tightness. We did OK, it was a challenge playing so beaten up from the FF/Hypocrisy/Etc show the night before (which was awesome) but people liked the new keyboardist, that was good. From The Shadows, they shred really hard but they manage to put in good vocal melodies that really fit in and don't sound lame, how rare is that? They have good sound that is unique to our local scene, I see a good future for them. Found Broken, they never let me down, they are tight as hell and really have a distinct sound going for them, I like it. Fuckin awesome breakdowns, they deserved a crowd 50x the size but there was like 6 people left when they played. Man were they good though.

Sweet show, next time people should come but I understand when it starts at 9 on a Tuesday, next time perhaps.

Unfortunately playing on a Tuesday after a show like FF et al pretty well guarantees you a tiny crowd.
Book your shows smarter and you will notice an increase in crowd size. - Wed, 6 Dec 2006 4:20pm

Yeah, it was really bad timing and it sucks that it had to happen that way, but fuck did everyone slay. Fuckin awesome music! Tim's right...you guys missed out on an awesome show. Oh well, I guess you win some, you lose some. We won some (music) and we lost some (money). - Wed, 6 Dec 2006 6:33pm

"failing at planning is planning to fail."

I agree Mr Hell, I tried to get them to not put it at this day at this time but...yeah. 9 - 1 am for an All ages show with school the next day...big metal show night before...can't think of a worse time to put it, I seriously can't.

Note to promoters/bands:

The VEC is outragously expensive now, we had about 50 people come at $7 each and was $240 under. I think that means that you need like 100 people at $7 to break even. And they charge $260 for security that didn't do anything whatsoever, I could a stood at the door. A giant WTF? to the VEC crew. - Thu, 7 Dec 2006 1:47pm
