| Indole Derivative User Info... | Clit 45: Expecting a lot from them. Shitty band, vocals sounded like whiney little boy, lame songs. Maybe I was expecting too much, but no one I talked to liked them. Comeback kid: I heard people badmouthing them, I expected Shit. I was very surprised to have a second band worth listening to on the bill. Wicked-big circle pit for these guys, which was cool. Dropkick Murphy's: I wasn't let down, blew me away, tight, proffesional, obviously the best band of the night. Got out of the mosh about halfway through because I thought I was going to die of dehydration, and thought I'd never make it back in because it was packed so tight... Soon as they started guns of brixton, I was in the middle of it all like a fat kid on a smartie. Good to see a band who gets the attention and respect they deserve. User Info... | this was a decent show, but nowhere even close to rancid and the aquabats...but anyways, the first band was playing, and i thought it was some shitty whiny band that they didnt advertise was playing, but it turned out to be Clit 45. then comeback kid were decent, they put on a good show atleast. the dropkicks put on a realyl energetic show, and that was pretty fun. bad relifion played alright, but they ended up playing their new stuff and barely any 80s which sucked....but atleast i got to see brian baker. - Sun, 1 Oct 2006 4:10pm | ||
| jackass User Info... | I didn't catch clit 45 or comeback kid, but arrived just in time for DKM. They were awesome. Somewhere around their 4th last song, they flooded their stage with chicks that jumped around and sang along. After a couple songs, tonnes more people crammed the stage and it was a big ol singalong. That was pretty damn sweet. Bad Religion was ok, I thought they were tight, their drummer fackin ruled and their harmonies sounded like garbage. They played shitloads of songs from No Control and a bunch off of some other albums, songs like Anesthesia, Generator and lots more I can't remember what they're called but I knew and could sing along. There weren't many songs I couldn't sing along to, and I don't own any Bad Religion after Stranger Than Fiction.
