| kmac User Info... | Well, I only saw the first two bands, unfortunately, but I enjoyed them both. Brewtality was tight, well-mixed, and had a good sound. The bass came through really well - what else would you expect from a Rickenbacker? Interesting kit the drummer was playing, too - absolutely HUGE bass drum. All in all, a good show. How can you not like a band that only sings about beer? Plus the hottie dancing on stage was a definite bonus. Nibbler was great, as always. The last time I saw them was at the Island Party, where they played for like 2 hrs, so I was quite traumatized that their set was so short. They managed to squeeze in most of the hits, though: "Chronic", "Johnny's 1st V-8", "Iranian Truck Bomb", "There's a Hole". The bottle of Fireball was not in evidence, although I found out later that it was there, only in stealth mode. Bass Freely's playing gets better all the time, and Hammer always shreds. Wish I could've stayed for the Beaumonts and the Remanes. Also wish the event had been better attended - y'all missed out on a great show. I couldn't attend cause it was my 3rd wedding anniversary, and even though a Remanes show is my idea of a good way to celebrate an aniversary my wife would disagree. Oh well, too bad if the attendance was down, but that never stopped the Vic punk scene before. Sorry I missed your first show Mic, you understand right? Goin to Corb Lund tonight so I'll miss the second a.u.show too. Lookin forward to Desensitized at the Fernwood though. | dumpstermesh User Info... | I'm sure she is a very caring person. It's nice that she has a friend good enough to stick up for her. I tried to tell her about the warning signs but she perfers to keep in the dark about it. You see I feel bad that he got away with lying to both of us. He was telling her that we had already broken up and hadn't had sex in 6 months (or to that effect). When in fact we were still together and he even was rubbing his boner on my ass the day we finally broke up. He was telling me that she was "like a sister" to him and "why would I ever cheat on you". Tell her to beware when he starts to not come home and stops answering the cell phone, when he stops wanting her to go parting with him, when he starts only coming home once a week. You see I used to be really mad at her too, because I thought she knew she was sleeping with a taken man, but then I found out that he was lying his face off to her too. And while we were together I found out that he had cheated on EVERY one of his ex's. How's that for a track record. I don't care if this is embarassing to him as he embarassed me more than he knows. Oh and the fact that him and I had known each other since we were 15 really go tme too. I thought there was more trust in our relationship. There is also evidence that she wasn't the first person he cheated on me with. My current bf almost didn't date me when he found out who my ex was because he thought there had to be something wrong with me if I dated him. Thank god he understands because he is the best thing to ever happen to me. You see, I've been dying to tell her all this because I hate him. And he shouldn't get away with what he did to both of us. She can still call me if she wants so we can exchange stories. She does deserve the truth. Even if I have to use the internet to get it to her.
