| Matteus User Info... |  New Bands, New Sounds! FROM THE SHADOWS: Here's a band that seems to be fusing this weird Alexis On Fire / Alkaline Trio & Metal sound together. FIve piece with some crazy vocals. Too bad my sound job sucked and they didnt sound so shit hot. But you can see them again at the VICTORIA EVENT CENTRE on MARCH 19th with several other bands. CHEMISTRY: WOW! WHoa! WHAT THE FUCK!? At sound check I just thought these guys were ok, with this Rage Against the Machine edge, but I was so wrong!!! A three piece from Toronto (now here in VIC), CHEMISTRY is a mix of so many styles that I never thought could come from a three piece. Heavey Bass influence (alot of slap), with the guitarist playing varied styles and a LEFT handed drummer lead you around form mosh pits to pop dance to all around fun. If you want something NEW, something FRESH, these are the guys that are going to do it.
