Bleeding Lies User Info... | Me and some friends went to the In Flames show in Vancouver at the Croatian Cultural Center. We saw Children of Bodom/Trivium/Amon Amarth not too long ago at the same place and I was disappointed by the venue's sound. The place was about half-full then. This show sold out and there was probably about 2000 people, place was packed but the sound was awesome. We missed Zao cause we were getting drunk at our hotel but we caught the end of DevilDriver who played 2nd after Zao. They had a lot of energy, always impressive. I saw them at Sounds of the Underground in the summer at the PNE Forum. I think they were much better last time, but that was a different show, better sound system. They tore the crowd up though. They are like a death metal band really but it has a real unique style. Next came Trivium, We saw them at CoB but they are a skilled band, I don't like them much, i think they're a gimicy almost 'fad band' but man do they do it well, awesome live show. Their drums and guitar were really good, the guitarists have their stuff down. I didn't pay any attention to Trivium because ALL i was doing is making my way to the front to see In Flames, probably my longest favourite metal band. After a lot of work, and many injuries and scraps I made it to the front. In Flames came on and it was the best live set I have seen in a long time. Their set was an awesome choice of new and old and wasn't the songs you would expect. Fuck, they played it like gods, just flawless. I was speechless. There was so much force against me i cracked and bruised ribs on the barrier, got my arm sliced by something, tore many leg muscles and eventually got nailed in the nose and lost a lot of blood, but I nailed the fucker worse..hehe. Every injury that I still have I would do again, it was worth every second. In Flames just amazing. It was also a treat that we met them and got pics at their signing. They signed my tour poster. One of the best shows I ever went to, just speechless. Listen to In flames. Heavy Metal. - Wed, 1 Feb 2006 9:23pm

Sati User Info... | I got a kick out of that review - it was good to hear from someone that stoked about a show. and i really liked how you nailed the fucker worse... ha! Anyway, I heard a couple of days ago something about in flames on this years' sounds of the ug so i guess you may get to catch them again. It didn't sound like there was anything else on it we haven't already seen around here though. from what I can remember... - Fri, 17 Feb 2006 5:27pm Edited: Fri, 17 Feb 2006 5:28pm
