_Griphin_ User Info... | I found where it is (just before that Market off Hillside), wow, they've held gigs there before? Jeez, that's like 2 blocks away from where I live (and walking distance to the 5th Street :). What is it with this neighbourhood, there's always either somewhere to jam or see bands. - Tue, 31 Jan 2006 8:50pm
Jeff User Info... | I'm really excited about this gig. It'll be the first time the Switchblades have played in several months, and only their second (I think) all-ages gig in Victoria. I saw soundcity a couple months back over in Van when they were supposed to play with The Hudsn Falcons who didn't make it across the border. The Soundcity Hooligans made the show worth the trip over, they're great streetpunk. I'm expecting a lot from Alternate Action too, Gregs been in a million different punk/Oi! bands in Alberta/BC and they're all top quality. This I think will be their second show ever. Like most people, I've heard a load about The Mags, I'm happy I'll finally get to see them. And that's some shameless promotion! - Thu, 2 Feb 2006 10:48am
_Griphin_ User Info... | I might actually go see that gig, I wonder how much they charge to have bands play there?!? - Thu, 2 Feb 2006 12:08pm

Chuck User Info... | Are the gigs still going on tonight? I mean are the ferries even running to get bands here? - Sat, 4 Feb 2006 5:53pm
Demen Ted User Info... | Fucking shit can't believe I missed this fucking show. How was it? Did it happen? - Sun, 5 Feb 2006 8:49am
jay brown User Info... | The show was excellent actually. Soundcity Hooligans almost didnt make it due to Van problems and the ferries but they got there eventually and managed to bust it out for the crowd. The other bands were great as well, and the crowd turned out to be a pretty decent size and as far as i could see everyone seemed to be having a blast. It's nice to see a show every once in a while that is totally different from most of the bands at the all agers nowadays. - Sun, 5 Feb 2006 5:02pm
_Griphin_ User Info... | It was rather horrible outside, and I didn't go see it, wish I had gone though. - Sun, 5 Feb 2006 7:24pm
Brian VIHC User Info... | Cool that this went well for you guys. I'm curious about how it was in terms of noise outside the venue, and dealing with neighbours. Was this an issue at all? - Mon, 6 Feb 2006 4:18pm
Jeff User Info... | Everything went well. all we had to do was ensure that all the doors were closed and outside noise wasn't a big issue. It all went without a hitch and the hall manager that lives next door was totally cool. - Tue, 7 Feb 2006 2:22am
Dane User Info... | Nice work Jeff. I hope to see you and other peeps at Ska Brawl on Feb 25th @ the Victoria Event Centre. - Tue, 7 Feb 2006 6:37am
