SickFuk User Info... | Considering last time I saw the Dayglo's I wasa so drunk that I blacked out... only reason I know I was there is cuz I saw the pics/video of me there hehe Maybe this time I'll go and try to stay at least sober enough that I'll remember the show in the morning 'ere - Thu, 15 Dec 2005 2:30am
Marvelus10 User Info... | My need for a Dayglos fix has been answered. WooHoo lets get drunk. One quick question eh. Everytime I go to see the Dayglos I see people walking around with video cameras, unfortunatly I have never seen any of these floating around on the interent or for sale in any of the local shops. So who has copies of all this maybe some here can help me get copies of some of these videos. thanx eh - Thu, 15 Dec 2005 9:13am
_Griphin_ User Info... | Good luck getting videos of the gigs. People are jerks when it comes to giving away/trading stuff like that (I, however, give away lots of demos, just ask!!!), guess they feel elite or something. I can understand why videos don't get traded from the bands standpoint (the band of course get a copy of the video to review how well they played), but why do the clubs allow lots of people with video cameras to film the gigs?!? Places like Lucky, Logans and even Steamers (or any venue which has bands on a regular basis) should film the gigs so that the band gets a copy, and those people with cameras shouldn't be allowed into the gigs. I mean jeez, when you film a gig for free then charge the band money to get a copy of what was filmed, that's just plain FUCKED!!! I don't get why, for instance, Logan's doesn't have a VCR hooked up to the soundboard via the audio in so they can get an audio copy of the gig. I mean jeez, how much money would it cost to do something like this?!? Maybe the bands should start bitchin' about this. BTW: I'm sure a few people might get mad at me for posting this, but I don't get why this hasn't been brought up before. So for those taping gigs, feel lucky you are able to do this, because, well I already posted what could happen. - Thu, 15 Dec 2005 10:34am
Tragedy User Info... | Holy crap, need a vacation much? I don't tape the shows for the band, the bar, YOU, or anybody else but ME for MY veiwing pleasure, I don't fucking charge anybody anything to watch it, and I wouldn't, cuz 90 percent of the tape is just me and my friends getting stupid for the camera, with a few half decent shots of the band, shitty sound, and most of the time I have to wipe the beer off the camera the next morning, it's not like it's pro quality or anything. And in fact just about everytime I've brought my camera to a show I've asked somebody from the band if they cared if I taped it, and they of course don't, I don't see why the bar would care, and I don't really see why you care either, if you want to see any footage I have, including the last Dayglo's show at lucky, I'd gladly show you if you don't mind sitting through the close up shots of flee's tonsils, people puking, Emma dancing on a cop car in her jammies, a skateboarding competition in my living room and random strangers making stupid unoriginal cracks about "art films"...I just like to bring along the camera so I have good memories, evidence and blackmail, for ME! And that's not hurting anybody, unless any of my friends want to get into politics one day...heh heh... That's my 2 cents. - Thu, 15 Dec 2005 11:20am
_Griphin_ User Info... | I knew at least 1 person would get pissed at what I posted, but yeah, take it for what it's worth, cause I don't care. I used to care but well, then I got my ass kicked and ever since then I take shit too seriously. I'd worry about what people think but well, I don't. So have fun at the gig, you'll pay for it the next day anyways :) - Thu, 15 Dec 2005 12:19pm
Tragedy User Info... | Not so much, since I'm pregnant and I don't drink. But thanks for the kind thoughts. Lighten up. You only have one life. - Thu, 15 Dec 2005 12:38pm

Tragedy User Info... | Little Tragedy number 2 in 2 and a half months even. And I still go to gigs, why not? My baby is gonna love music like I do, and hey, who can say the first time they heard the Dayglos they were in their mommy's tummy? I just stay away from the moshpit and steer clear of flailing drunks. - Thu, 15 Dec 2005 1:10pm
dumpstermesh User Info... | Hey Tragedy, at least you'll stand out fer sure this time. I'll buy you an O.J. when I see your abundant body. - Thu, 15 Dec 2005 2:23pm
_Griphin_ User Info... | Heh... when I was in High School, I knew of a teacher who when she was preggers, would always sit her drink on the top of her belly (she had twins). Strange that I'm trying to stay away from gigs, I dunno, there a lot more funner when your gooned. - Thu, 15 Dec 2005 3:37pm

trevor corey User Info... | Holy shiite that was good.I missed the first band and had no idea it was Breach until today. I thought that was Johno I saw but I havn't seen you in 15 years so I wasn't sure.Sorry I didn't say hi. The remanes were awesome,me and my dawg spent this morning listening to the cd. We "highly" recomend it. For five bucks they are practically giving it away. The Dayglos rocked as usual, I really needed a fix of some good live rock. The new lead singer had a decent stage presence and seemed to fit pretty good. There was a great turnout. I was "Lucky" to get in, thanks Ben, I hope everyone in that monster line got in before thier balls turned blue. I came home smellin of cheap beer and punker sweat, makes life worth livin.Lots of cameras, come on you puckers post some pics. Rock on Victoria . - Sat, 17 Dec 2005 1:12pm

jaundice escariot User Info... | the 'glos were on last night. Jimbo's an old buddy and it was great to see him rawkin' out. a little cliche for me... dayglos...west coast...beer...beer...release the hostages...37 years old and still hittin' the pit. payin' for that today, boy howdy! Thanks to Ben and Lucky for a right rockin' fuck-up. - Sat, 17 Dec 2005 7:10pm
Pooetry User Info... | I wound up only taking pictures of random people, and none of the band. Here's a picture of my friend on one of the Lucky couches at the end of the night though. That was a very fun show. It never ceases to amaze me how many people who I haven't seen in ages get drawn out to Dayglos shows. Reunion-esque. - Sat, 17 Dec 2005 8:53pm
dumpstermesh User Info... | Good times, good sober times. Seen peeps I haven't seen in eons - too cool. Do you know how hard it is to stay sober at a Dayglos show? All the bands were great too. Can't wait to see Alcohollys pics...hint hint. - Sat, 17 Dec 2005 9:12pm

dumpstermesh User Info... | What was up with the guy that smelled like dog shit? Seriously, every time he walked past me I smelled it. And to smell ANYTHING over the beer/sweat was amazing. I don't actually expect a response, but did anyone else catch a whiff of this guy? - Sat, 24 Dec 2005 1:41pm
Jesspsycho User Info... | no thank god - Sat, 24 Dec 2005 2:01pm
rickylong User Info... | Digestion problems.... too many refried beans Amigo. When i first saw Breach I was still in the black-out drinkin stage. It was at the Limit..... I was sure the leadsinger used to wear those white nike runners with the tongue hanging out, big puffy coat, ball cap on backwards and sing into a megaphone like they use at sporting events. But this show was different. They where good. And i didn't black-out. They are a piece of Victoria punk history and it's good to see them on stage again. As usual i like to get my Dagloos fix every once and awhile. Murray writes songs that stand the test of time and are very sing alongable. Gymbo executes them well. I wonder if Gymbo is sponsored by Stanfields? His underware are always shown. But i seem to remember a show way back when when Bonehead had no use for underware at all (Ferwood 1983).... Release the Hostages! -ricky jak - Mon, 26 Dec 2005 12:17am
_Griphin_ User Info... | I actually used to work with the lead singer at Pagliacci's (I didn't know he was in a band), and someone was nice enough to lend me a copy of Breach's demo (Second Captain, First Pick), nice work!!! Now CAN YOU DIG IT!!!! - Mon, 26 Dec 2005 11:17am
dumpstermesh User Info... | Wow, I think I may have worked the coat check/door at that Limit show. It's all soo hazy. That was back when I drank a tenth my body weight/night. - Mon, 26 Dec 2005 2:00pm
slEazy User Info... | fuck all you fucking fucks. breach will kill you all and leave left overs for the only real hard-core band, 'Saturday Night Murder-Fever' to wipe up and please come to all our shows. - Sun, 1 Jan 2006 3:01am
