Sati User Info... | Did anyone out there go to this? I heard that AA opened.. is it true? - Thu, 24 Nov 2005 12:26pm
Legma User Info... | That is true. I got to the show when Amon Amarth had about 3 songs left. From what I heard of them they were playing damn well, tight as shit, and heavy as fuck. Trivium came out next and got the mosh pit fucking roaring, at one point there were only about 50 people not moshing and the mosh pit was moving in a circle with about 150 people in it thrashing there heads. Trivium played about 8 songs that were just killer, I definitely had my head bangin and my body bashin. The decieved was my favorite amongst many; rain, suffocating sight, pull tighter on your strings of Matyr, all very well played and extremely tight. Good band chemistry, their vocalist was also the lead guitar and man can he tear the shit up. Then comes Children of Bodom. Talk about packed. I was 3 rows from the front and there wasnt an inch to spare, people were pushing and budging to squeeze into a tight spot just to be able to have a deecent view! It was so packed it took about 3 songs for the crowd to disperse and form a mosh pit. But man, did they ever put on a show. Songs from their set: (somewhat in order) Living dead beat Sixpounder Hate Me! Silent Night, Bodom Night In Your Face Angels Don't Kill Drum Solo Bodom After Midnight/Bodom Beach Terror Follow The Reaper Needled 24/7 Alexi vs Janne Guitar+KeyBoard solo -- (Alexi fooled around by himself as did Janne, then I heard Alexi begin the guitar duel from the movie The Crossroads. They only jammed Steve Vai's part, but played it unbelievable well. Then Alexi played the end to the No More Tears solo by Ozzy Osbourne) We're Not Gonna Fall (not sure) Downfall Hatecrew Deathroll Are You Dead Yet? -----------------------encore Roope Solo Chokehold Everytime I Die - Thu, 24 Nov 2005 1:31pm
Sati User Info... | awesome, would've been cool to see a crowd that worked up! btw thanks, a couple of friends were stoked about your review. And given what you said, I want to hear some Trivium. I'm kinda glad I didn't get to go, cuz I would have been way more than pissed to find Amon Amarth playing first. what were they thinking?! - Sat, 26 Nov 2005 2:47pm
Legma User Info... | Ya trivium is a pretty kick ass band! There are some moments where the singing is kinda weak but their crazy fast riffs make up for it! - Sun, 27 Nov 2005 8:23pm
