I gapped and went to the Commodore first. And then was totally relieved to figure out my mistake, cuz all the way there I was cringing at the thought of having to hang out with those people (Static-X crowd), haha! I did like them at some outdoor fest a few years ago though.. don't tell.

Not knowing anything about the band, it was pretty tough getting up and out to see a band called "Dew Scented", so being kinda late coupled with the venue error, I missed them completely. People said they were pretty good though, so I lose.

I decided I didn't like Decapitated about a minute in. I liked some recordings last year, but live they struck me as not-all-too-tight, predictable and going through the motions. Disappointing.

Vader put on a quality show with more than a couple of shining moments. It'd be surprising if any Vader fans were let down cuz they seemed pretty focussed.
A good night despite turnout being weaker than it should have been. Thats something thats happening a lot lately, even with $10 tickets they've been unloading closer to showtime. - Thu, 17 Nov 2005 11:32am

You didn't miss shit, Dew Scented sucked. most of us figured that out ahead of time by their band name. Decapitated was definately the best band there. Half the people seemed to like Vader the best and that's probably ripped shit right up topping it all off with a wicked Slayer cover. The other half of the crowd was a little dissapointed with Decapitated only gettng to play like 6 or 7 songs and no one like dew scented the best. Next time those polish whipper snappers make their wasy to the west coast I hope they head line and lots of people I talked to said they should bring a ryther guitarist to fill the sound out better. All in all it was definately money well spent, now excuse while go for my early afternoon shot gun. \m/ - Thu, 17 Nov 2005 1:53pm

Vader owned, despite the attendance(thought it would have been packed for this one) an amazing stage pressence.Firebringer, Darktransmissions, uh reighn in blood oh ya...! Fuckin rights! Decapitated's bass and drums fuckin blew me away, the gravity blasts and relentless bass wich lapped the double kicks without strain. 6.50 for a stella... WTF! Missed dewscented as well but black label supreme was calling. And that shit beer doesn't take no for an answer. - Tue, 22 Nov 2005 4:52pm

I'm not sure, but I think they released a bunch of 10 buck tickets for Suffocation too. And I think another metal show I can't remember. Turnouts haven't been what they should be, probably because of the "excess" of heavy shows - fans can't afford them all. - Fri, 2 Dec 2005 7:44pm
