slEazy User Info... | Up to Nanaimo we went. I love playing in this town. First band I saw was Unit 29. Not really my thing (Nu Metal) but they were good to the crowd and the crowd was good to them. Next was Southgate. They were a young talented metal band. Drumming was good exspecially when he doubled as the main vocalist. Got the crowd going with a good show. Then skatepunks Dirty Rotten Scoundrels took the stage and played a set of catchy punk with lots of sing along back ups. They were alot of fun to watch. Dayglos meets Operation Ivy meets Agnostic Front. Much more my style. Then Friday Night Murder took the stage and God said it was good. Unfortunately my ride took me away before Magogs Deception started. Im listening to their online stuff as Im writing this. These guys have alot of talent and the bass playing is dope, know wha wha wha Im sayiiiiiin? Would have liked to checked em out. Here is their webspace: http://www.myspace.com/magogsdeception Thanks to the MD drummer and family for putting on this shindig and thanks to the Paulverizer for finally learning 2 new letters of the alfybet. "A" and "D" woooooooooo - Sat, 26 Nov 2005 11:40am | ||
