| Doug Donut User Info... | OK...Here's the deal...Me and my girl went up to the WISE hall to see this great band (as usual) with Jon Card (personality Crisis) on drums, wimpy roy (DOA) Gerry Hanna and the original guitarist (?) rock...Right after "Firing Squad", there's a mellee going on over to the left of the pit, so naturally, as in most punk shows, people (including moi) sift through it and try to break it up...I look- and lo and behold, on the floor is my poor girl crying, and apparently some dude with a bald head just started bashing people and ran out the front...I picked her up, put her backstage made sure she was OK considering, and made my way past a shoving match involving about 20 people of all style of attire , grabbed a bottle and stormed outside screaming mad, yelling "where's that fucker that hit my girlfreind!!!!..Well I was goin about a hundred, and by the time I hit the bottom of the stairs, I'm seriously staring down the barrells of 7 ! police revolvers..Needless to say I got hog tied and thrown into a paddy wagon...after that, I just heard people running outside, and yellin at the "man" to get inside and that there was a riot ensuing...End of gig I guess... So the coppers realise I was just defending my loved one, and asked if they could drop me away from the "scene" as it were...So I says, ya what "Surrey?"...Well they did'nt think that was funny, so they took me downtown and put me in a cell for 5 hours...No big deal, considering I almost was killed...Can you see the headline? "Cops get Donut"!! Any way, my girl's badly bruised, and the dudes that did this are in bigger shit than they know...Anyone that witnessed ANY of this feel free to email [email protected] Got some of the fuckers on Videotape, so BRING IT! This takes me back to the old DEATH SENTENCE days when we were constantly getting our shows trashed by bald fuckers in from the boonies...Let's stick together once again, and suss these losers out...Keep em outta the scene! I mean for fuck's sake, go over to Iraq if ya wanna beat on women, they'll kick your white suburban arses! BTW, REBEL SPELL'S best show yet! Fuck there an awesome band! PROMOTERS! PAY THEM WELL!!! And not the skins of the nanci variety.. the speedy news is gettin to my ears....This is fairly serious shit, and my girl is goin in for exrays on her spine/ribs...The dude laid the boots to her while she was writhing on the floor...4 or 5 hard kicks...Real nice...I've been CRANKING The Stranglers FIVE MINUTES for two days...Better hope she's OK? As well the cops that made some arrests that night used excessive force, again any info on that would be greatly appreciated. | Doug Donut User Info... | OK, here's the juice...The Videotapes will show what happened, and from all the phone calls and e-mails I've recieved it was a guy with longer hair with possibly a red longsleeve shirt...All I heard the day after and even while in the can was "baldy" "skins" "those dudes did it" etc... Well THAT IS GENERALLY THE WRONG idea of events.. This was a isolated incident. Hey Doug, hope your shoulder didn't take another beating and that your g'friend's healing up quick and isn't too freaked out about hitting shows. We all know this kind of stuff isn't tolerated and near never happens.
